I love Wings Over and I tried a new one in Storrs and was so disappointed. The staff was great but the quality of the food was... horrible. I requested well done or crunchy wings and they were not cooked correctly. The container they were put in created somuch condensation that the skin was wet. After trying the wings over in West Hartford I was excited to try this location since it was closer to where I was staying. The... experience here was insanely different than the West Hartford location. The service was VERY slow. more than 30 minutes for afew wings and some fries. I have ordered from here twice and both took over 30 minutes, the wings were barely sauced, the frieswere cold, and the Person to Person interaction was very awkward and uncomforting. Wings over use to be a lot better. I thought it was somewhat inappropriate how the staff was when we walked in. I was nervous these wings wouldn?t be as good as they were at 1am on all my drunken college nights, but even sober me thinks... they are DELECTABLE! I graduated from UConn 10 years ago. I was in the area for the first time in years and obviously had to seeif these wings were still as delicious as I remember. I have to say, these are the world?s best wings! I've had great experiences with Wings Over Storrs - orders are correct/fast delivery/tastes great/excellent delivery people -... and always good communication. I order late at night - and appreciate they stay open! I only wish for a good coupon every now& then (20% off?). Free fries doesn't cut it for me (LOL). Overall, it's my 'go-to' food at work - and my kids LOVE it when Icome home with wings! Keep it up! Read more
