Ikea is great for simple furniture staples, kitchen gadgets, storage, and light fixtures. Love that you can modify a lot of the... furniture to fit your specific needs without blowing a "customized budget". When we built our house, we had a hard time figuringout how to set up our closet but we were able to get a few pieces from Ikea to make it feel luxurious for a fraction of otherstores. They also have a restaurant that has a limited, but good menu. Read more

Going to IKEA is a whole day event. Be prepared to spend the whole day perusing the store. You can always find something useful,... beautiful or just exactly what you needed. Their prices are good, their displays are very helpful and getting your merchandiseis very easy. Signage is very easy to follow and it's everywhere, so getting lost is not a problem. And if you do, there isalways a member of the staff available to help you with any questions you may have. We usually end up having lunch in the cafe. The food is good and affordable. They have vegetarian options available. Additionally, they have childcare available. Parking isavailable and free. The loading area is not busy during the weekdays, which was when I visited, so loading your car is veryeasy. We also ordered some items to be picked up at the store and that was super easy. We let them know we were there and ourorder number and within three minutes they had our order ready. I can't recommend IKEA enough. Read more

IKEA has always been a place I love to go. The furniture may not be the highest quality but we still have fun walking through a... making a day of it and get some lunch. We decided to pick up a dining room table this time. I was on the fence about it in theshowroom but I decided it was inexpensive so probably worth the risk. I live about 90 minutes away so I knew it would just haveto be horrible to return it especially with the gas prices lately. Well you get what you pay for. My husband and I built thetable and chairs, it looks decent overall. But at a closer look I noticed that there are sharpie marks on the table itselftrying to cover up dings or scratches or whatever. Also the table is just really small and extremely light. It specifically saysthat it's solid pine but it barely weighs anything. After contacting customer service it seems like my only option is to returnit in person in the store which is 90 minutes away from my house and the table is already built so it will no longer fit in mycar. I'm super disappointed with the lack of support and lack of a local phone number. Now I'm stuck with a junky table. Read more

I'm horribly addicted to ikea. I'm a huge diy'er and I have used ikea to renovate my bedroom and art studio. Now I have a tiny... home that's comfortable and fit in my budget. My dog even has a bed right next to me that she loves (and yes she sleeps in thedrawer.) Read more

Literally heaven on earth. There's so much, you need a full day to walk through to take in everything they offer....but it's... sooooo worth it. Easy to find products in a warehouse setup. They have computers where you can look up things and it tells youthe isle and bin numbers. Hint! When checking out, click pay so you can actually pay lol. Unlike other self checkouts, puttingin your card won't trigger the pay system automatically. Oh, and try the meatballs, you won't be disappointed. Read more
