Stopped in for some beers and food last Friday while camping in the area. Nice beer selection ???????? We did the green bean... appetizer w the dipper n OMG! The hubby did the fish fry and was very good. I did the spicy Chipotle chicken wrap, was justok...little disappointed but that's me. Cute downtown area n everyone was so friendly. Biba???????????? Fun place to grab great brews and a bite. The viking theme iz fun, and the bar looks like a Viking ship! The dragon head even... blows smoke, very cool. Had a lot of fun on a gal pal date, and glad to have found this gem! Ashley, our server, was superfriendly and great with suggesting beers I might enjoy. I am so glad I got a flight! A few selections for about the price of abeer. Amazing value!! There pulled pork was amazing, and I am looking forward to trying their ribs next time (along with atleast 1 flight!). Seriously impressed with their brews. Not just run of the mill brew pub beers that are meant to keep you drinking while eating... dinner. They've put some serious thought and effort into the quality. Flavors have depth and nuance. Viking burger was awesometoo, but get it with one patty instead of two because you'll get more out of the rest of the burger. Read more
A quaint, fun atmosphere at this restaurant/bar that serves up craft beer and some solid plates! Plenty of seating available on... a Sunday midday, so serving time was very responsive. The Hilda Smash is no joke. They load the jalapeños up, smother inhabanero sauce, and top it with ghost pepper cheese. Better make sure you have a drink to dampen the steam! Read more
Wow what a gem. This place brews their own beer(which is fantastic). I'm a cream ale fan, which is hard to find. The cream ale... here is wonderful. The food is off the chain. Norwegian delicacy, pure and simple If you don't stop in, you're missing out. Read more
Disappointed, the portion sizes were not worth the money. Ordered all this food (burger, alfredo, cheese cake) for $45 not... including the tip. The alfredos portions is about the serving size for a kid and cost $14 but the burger tasted good and wasworth the purchase. A small slice of warm melted cheese cake for $7 is a little over priced in my opinion, serving size about3-4 bites. I live less then 4 minutes away an it took a little over an hour to deliver. This was a fun place that was 20 min from Madison. Easy to find, easy to park, and a nice clean open atmosphere. Beer was very... tasty. I enjoyed Ufda triple. the meals were very plentiful and very tasty. Best sweet potato fries we ever had. Very goodRuben and enjoyed the craisans in the slaw. Read more
