Today was my second visit to Garrett's Mill diner, and I have to say I've always been satisfied with the food and service. ... David was our server both times, he's pleasant and efficient. The food is quick to serve and tastes excellent. I've had thecorned beef hash as well as biscuits and gravy, and Garrett's Mill does both well. Their cream gravy was a little thin for mytastes, but the one thing that stands out to me is their coffee. It's a unique blend and if you're a coffee or a cigar or evena whisky guy the subtlety of the brew will jump right out at you. I will most assuredly be returning a third time! Read more

This place is amazing! I tried the biscuits and gravy meal with coffee. The gravy is definitely made from scratch, the biscuits... were soft and fluffy, eggs were cooked perfectly, and the potatoes were crispy and flavorful. They have a great cup of joe aswell. If you want a bloody Mary, mimosa, or a craft beer with your breakfast, they have you covered. Great food, greatstaff....I highly recommend this place. I cannot wait to go back. Read more

Truck stop food in a family restaurant, wife enjoyed her meal of eggs, bacon, home fries, toast. I had biscuits & gravy, home... fries, eggs & coffee. Home fries are rather tasty, the sausage gravy was a bit salty otherwise good. It was a clean & homeyplace to eat. We'll have to return to try the pancakes. Read more

We were staying at the Hampton Inn across the street and got tired of the free breakfast so we got carry out from Garretts. Glad... we did. Great quality food and can?t beat the price. Very nice young man took our order over the phone and helped us when wepicked up. Read more

Cute little mom and pop type of place. But they have a great menu and quality food. It was so good. Great service as well. We... found this place close to our hotel and tried it. Very happy we did. Accidently found this diner while on a road trip. Very small diner in a strip of businesses. I'd say roughly 15 tables maybe, so... prepare to likely wait during peak times. That wait included to be seated, for food, refills, and to receive our bills. Seemedoverwhelmed and low staffed, but we were in no hurry. Food was good. Portions large. What made me give them 3 stars was the lobster bisque. SO GOOD! We had a party of 7. We waited half an hr for food. I understand... it's a small spot so ok that wasn't too bad. Coffees went empty for awhile during that. I think they are over priced. Cost usabout $88 before tip for 4 out of that party. Did include $13 for bisque to go. The quiche with ham was reported to me as notgreat. Barely any ham. I tried the salmon lox ???? Was SUPER salty & not because of the capers. Read more
