Delicious seafood spot in Stowe! Decent drink menu and dessert options too. Their menu is limited so be sure to look ahead of... time. Little confusing to find if you\'re not staying at the resort and don\'t valet your car in the front. We had to google mapour way from the back parking lot and find our way through the resort to it. This is a restaurant that fires on all cylinders. The service was impeccable. Not stuffy at all.\nThe appetizers, salads and... entrees were inventive and well prepared. The raw oysters are as good as any ocean front location.\nThe decor is modern and verycomfortable. Ask for a booth or table with a view of the mountain side.\nPricey wine list but you can get moderate wines by theglass. But, if you\'re celebrating (like we were) get a bottle from the list.\nExpect the check to be on the high side but it\'swell worth it. Read more
The only reason for 3 stars is for poor service. Local crispy trout fish was amazing but I think it comes with too much... dressing. Steak is also surprisingly delicious. Read more
Where do I start? Aaron the host was so friendly and accommodating, made me honestly feel like a VIP superstar with how nice he... was and how well he treated me and my dog setting us up for some food to bring back to room. Dave the manager and Dave thebartender were so great as well that I had to return to actually sit down and eat. Coming for dinner the next night with highexpectations I was not disappointed at all. Shout out to the chef for a beautiful steak and to Dave the bartender for poringwith the perfect red wine and bourbon night cap dessert drink. These guys truly went above and beyond. Special thanks to Davethe a manger as well, exceptional professional service with leadership by example and it was clearly reflected in the mood ofthe staff and how well trained everyone was. The decor of this restaurant feels like an afterthought in comparison to its sister restaurant Alpine Hall. While we were... waiting for dinner to arrive we were surprised to see how dusty most of the decor next to our table was. In regards to the meal:the clam chowder and the pumpkin soup were lovely. In contrast, the pimento crab dip was oily and offputtingly sweet.Unfortunately the house made potatoes chips did not complement this dish either. On a positive note our waiter was lovely. Read more

We had a bad experience a few days ago, we were looking for a place to have breakfast and that was the only place open in the... resort. We talked to one of the waitresses and she went in to ask if they could still sell us breakfast since it was 11am, andhow long it took her to give us the information, we went directly in to ask what seemed like \"the manager\" at the food bar, hetold us that They would let us eat and that it cost 30 bucks each to access the buffet, to which we said it was fine and the manthen told us that we were sure we could pay! We decided to leave, faced with such an uncomfortable and racist situation on thepart of that man. Awesome ski spot, but I wouldn\'t go back to that restaurant. Read more
