The bar is first come first serve and you can have dinner in bar table but if you want to dine-in, I highly recommend to book in... advance to have better experience. Cozy place to have dinner, nice decorations and the staffs are friendly. Cuisine French’sstyle. The soup du jour : pumpkin soups with apple cider was sold out so we was a little disappointed but Homemade New Englandcorn chowder soup was delicious. It is no wonder, they serve this soup for more than 30 years. My husband have a steak au poivrewith cognac sauce, one of the best steak we ever had. Tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned. Otherwise, they sold out of Plat dujour (they called entrée for the main dish) so I ordered a seafood linguine. It was funny to have fish in the dish because Iused to have seafood linguine with the crunchy texture (shrimps, squid, mussels). However, I adore the spicy taste of Diavolosauce. Also, I expected a nicer presentation of the dish with this price but the old man served us was very nice so I gave a 5stars. Read more
Not sure why there are so many awful reviews, I guess rich people are quite picky. We stopped in for dinner and were not... disappointed. Although we didn’t have reservations, we were able to get right in just before the rush. We got a table by thebar and our server had been working there only two days but he was an absolute delight. We ordered the mussels and corn chowderfor our apps both of which were phenomenal. We were served fresh-baked bread with these which only added to our delight. I gotthe curry for dinner and my mother got the filet mignon. Although the curry was definitely a more American version, it had greatflavor and I had enough to take home at the end of the meal. My mother’s filet was cooked to perfection without an ounce offat. Our server was attentive, fun, and friendly which made the experience even better. The food was very good, but pricey and on smaller sizes, overall we were pretty happy.
Had dinner on Sun evening, had reservation, so no wait time. Mussels, Wild Mushroom Vol au Vent and Simply Grilled Skirt Steak... were pretty good, Mussels were just a bit too salty. Read more
We came here 2 nights and had mixed feelings, the first night we came and had Kris and everything was awesome across the board.... The next night we came and had Anna at first seemed nice however she was also tending to a large dinner party and it becameevident to us that they were the priority. It just seemed like we were an inconvenience to her through out the night. At somepoint we were handed of to Kris, which we were very happy about, she saved our night?, when we got our bill Anna awkwardly cameand brought it to us. I'm giving a 4 star because Kris made our experience awesome and the food was great! Read more
Amazing food, quick courteous service. We told the waitress we were attempting to make a movie after and she was prompt... without being rude or affecting the wonderful service! She suggested the swordfish special and was absolutely right! Yum! Read more
