Great place for banquets or meetings. Good food, great service. The selection of food was limited the last time I visited... including being out of baked potatos and desserts which is the only reason I couldn't give 5 stars. We use to love this place. BUT?.it has since changed hands. We went there Saturday about 430 the man who walked in behind us got... his food and the two men sitting beside us came in 35 minutes after us got there food and we are still waiting on our food.Service was terrible. Told the server I wanted wings with sauce on the side. Well it came on them drenched, French fries wascold, sent my food back, my husband ate his meal and his chicken was over cooked and mash potatoes cold. My husband was doneeating and we are still waiting on my food. It finally comes out and the fries are under cooked. I talked to the owner as shewas cashing us out and she was rude. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK. I will never recommend anyone to dine there ever. This place USE TOBE VERY GOOD. TRUST ME IT ISNT THE SAME AND IS NOT GOOD ANYMORE!!!! We got there at 430 and left at 615. This place had at least7 tables of people , before this place was taken over you had to stand in line to get a table on a Saturday night. NOTHING LIKEIT USE TO BE. Terrible, just Terrible. Read more
A restaurant centered around simple dining. Very popular with the older crowd. Food options are very simple, with some nicer... things such as steak and shrimp. Prices are very reasonable. Don't come here expecting a 5star gourmet experience. All the foodis very simple and easy, dinners are served on multiple plates in "courses" or you can eat a la carte amd just grab a piece ofchicken and a side of mashed potatoes. My mother really likes this restaurant as she is very small and isn't forced to pay forexcessively large portions she cannot eat. Went on a Tuesday of last week, not very busy, service was slow, waited for our ham loaf and mashed potatoes, brought the meals... out. The potatoes were cold and couldn't flag our waitress down to send them back, another waitress did come to our tablebecause she saw me looking for original girl. Brought us hot mashed potatoes. I had to go up to the waitress station to get mywaitress to give me a refill on my drink. This restaurant is nothing like when the previous owners had it. Sorry to say probablywon't be going back. Weekday, us two were first ones in the place. Our order was taken in good time by a sweet waitress, (by the way we only... recognized one waitress, everyone is new), but it took a bit for our food to come, I ordered scallops and fries and verydisappointed ??????, both were much overcooked .Wondering why they cooked them so dark brown, the new owner asked how it was soI kindly explained to her food is overcooked. She offered to replace it but my sister was half way through eating and I did notwant to wait again. She didn't charge me (I'm glad) but we both came out very disappointed..... Read more
Basic 90's style sit down restaurant. Think they have not change much since then. Been going there for years. Good atmosphere.... Great place to meet with larger groups. Limited menus, Basically Fried chicken and fish. And home style sides. Decent fry foods, Reasonable price. 4 people & a tip cost me 60 bucks You will leave full without going broke. Read more
I ordered steak well done and I ended up sending it back 2 times, the prepared a new steak each time, so it took a while to get... my food. On the other hand everyone else in our party of 12 liked there food and said it was great. They can accommodate largeparties and the service was great. Read more
