Ok, so moving from New Haven to this area left me at a loss for good food. In New Haven you have it all. Cuban, Mexican, Thai,... Noodles, GOOD pizza, etc. I had driven by Cibus with my wife and said aloud, "we really need to go there," so we finally did andoh my god, what a good decision that was. The food was incredible, the service was super friendly, and out orders came out inless than 10 minutes! I ordered the churrasco with over easy eggs and it was everything I wanted it to be. Sweet, salty, savory,citrusy, and filling. My wife ordered the empanadas and they were cooked perfectly. Not too crispy but not soft either, and thesauce was perfectly balanced. Ordered Pernil through UberEats, and disappointed. Pork was clearly old, dried out, and appeared to be scraps thrown in the... dish. Beans, rice, plantain, chicken empanada was decent. The Cibus empanada tasted a day or two old, salty and greasy. Won'tbe ordering again. Read more

Amazing, cozy and family friendly atmosphere with wonderful food and service! This was my first time going to Cibus and it did... not disappoint! I went there to celebrate my birthday, even though several people told me I should go to Cibus Dos instead forthe "classier" version. However I chose the original for the great reviews it had. The servers were very friendly and helped uswith the selection of the menu. There were different games, which kept my 4 yr old nephew entertained while we waited fordinner. Everyone was pleased with their dinner selections, and there was more than enough food to bring home for leftovers! Their drinks were good too! Much to my surprise while we waited for the dessert menu to come out, I heard a birthday song overthe speakers and thought....wow they know it's my birthday! When I looked behind me the staff handed me a beautifullydecorated piece cake as they wished me happy birthday. Very friendly staff and the owner is always looking at improving and adding fun twists to the menu. Food was picked fresh and... delicious. Ceviche was one of my favorites. Brought out a surprise birthday cake and birthday song for my nephew. Read more
