Started with fresh ,briny delicious oysters . My wife loved the salmon over fresh greens.. I had a clam/ mussel appetizer as a... main dish. Broth was outstanding. Excellent meal in an attractive setting, but the establishment didn't plan well for the volume of a Restaurant Week promotion.... First told us there would be a 20 minute wait, then let us in when we told them we had a reservation. Took 20 minutes to get theOld Fashioned I ordered: think the overworked waitress made it herself, serving what amounted to a triple that nearly put meunder the table. Ran out of a number of the special menu items offered but to their credit, offered equitable replacements. Foodwas very good and prices are reasonable so I would come back on a less hectic night . I've eaten here many times, and the food is always amazing. The other night I had one of their specials which was gnocchi in a... Gorgonzola sauce. It was one of the best meals I've ever had. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. Melissa is anawesome bartender who is knowledgeable and always smiling. The chef is very creative, and the presentation is always spot on. He always comes out to see how my meal was. I'll keep coming back! Read more
a true disappointment, rigatoni bolonaise was a greasy facsimile of a genuine sauce. it did not cling to the pasta. the order... was not was what was requested, the waitress was confused or assumed certain items. the tuna tartare lacked a zing and a goodchill but was excessively salted. Read more
We tried this new restaurant in town tonight! Fantastic!!! Greeted and seated by Linda who was very welcoming and friendly.... Lovely atmosphere and very comfortable. Loved the menu options, prices were very reasonable, and several specials offered too.Drinks were well made! Food was excellent, we indulged in a few appetizers and dinner. Great size portions and everything wasvery tasty! They also have a great bar with plenty of seating. We were told they have been open for 6 weeks, we will definitelycome back again to try more delicious meals! Great to have a new restaurant in our town! Read more
This is a great addition to the Stratford Restaurant selection. The food is great with a refinement brought to the recipes by... the Italian chef. There is a great function room too for private events and the bar is a popular spot. My wife and I enjoyed anice meal during the opening night Read more
Was here on opening night now back to.try lunch . Both were great although the name says fish they also.have steak and chicken... dishes my steak was excellent. Lunch today was a chicken cajun wrap that comes with thick cut fries was very good. Even bettereverything on the lunch menu $9.95. Best lunch deal in the area. Located just off exit 32 it's a easy ride from West Haven orMilford. Well woth the trip. Read more
