Let's talk about...I sat at the bar. I loved it. Nice Vibe..Spacious..Clean...Mature Crowd...Drinks amazing..Good Music. They... also have a Dj on Fridays. I wasn't really hungry so I just had a App which was so different and amazing .It was Calamari withChili Sauce/Blue Cheese and Pork Belly. All on one Plate. Who would of thunk it...It was Fire..I was skeptical at first but itplayed out well. Lets talk about the Bar -Staff is great I will definitely shout out Nicole she is a vibe by herself and does wonders behind the bar. Don?t judge this restaurant from the outside at all. The outside looks like nothing to speak of, but when you leave you will... have a lot of good things to say that may include: efficient staff; uncluttered seating; clean comfortable bathrooms, outdoordining available; family dining, date worthy, large group hang out, after-work-crowd, don?t feel like-cooking; surprise-guestsdropped in to spend the day-type of place to go eat. Huge bar space and hung TV?s make Singles feel at ease also. This hotchicken sandwich is a delicious full meal. I took half of it home after having some spicy sweet chili calamari and sharing theA-mazing arugula salad with goat cheese, candied walnuts and cranberries pre-tossed with a very light balsamic vinaigrette.Honestly I could have had a trough of that salad alone and been just fine. The teriyaki chicken Bowl with quinoa was good andcould have been better if it was less salty. The Southwestern salad with chicken was really good according to a member of ourgroup. There is an impressive number of beers on tap, either 30 or 50 was the number stated by our cheerful server. Was let downabout the cocktails, though. Seriously did not enjoy either that I tried. I sent back the first, ?Jameson Cold Brew? (what theheck was that ????) and did not have the heart to do the same with the grapefruit margarita, jalapeño-cilantro infused simplesyrup thing that I ordered after. The cocktail menu overall seems quite over-ambitious with mixtures of ingredients that don?tquite go together. It might be worth the extra two stars to invest in a mixologist to put together a new cocktail menu for thisfun place the locals enjoy. Or maybe skip them altogether and let the beers rule. Read more
Absolutely the best brunch my husband and I have had in a while! You have to try the quesadilla?s breakfast brunch and the... burrito! So surprised at the awesome bar food and charm of this little gem! Don't be fooled by the old history of a dive bar . . . My... goodness has this evolved in such an incredibly positive way. Sat at the bar and had a drink and dinner. Yes, there werelocals who made it so homey and friendly. Great conversation. The service was excellent and the food was awesome. Came for the first time tonight and from the minute we walked in we were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated right away.... Our waitress Sara was wonderful! Very sweet and attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. The ambiance was amazing and everythingwas very clean and well kept. The food was excellent - especially the giant pretzel! We can?t wait to come back!! When we wentfor the second time, Jessica was our waitress and she was also wonderful!! Very sweet and very quick to get our food out. INCREDIBLE food, decent service. There was a small hair in my food but it was so delectable and I was so hungry that I couldn?t... bring myself to send it back (I know, I know). I feel that this speaks to two things: the services was slow, but the food wasworth it. I ordered the seafood pasta which came in at around $30 and it took about 25mins to come out. Unfortunately, thelobster was over cooked, but the rest of the seafood (calamari and shrimp) was not. I sat at the bar and was not greetedinitially, but I was given an appropriate amount of time to view the menu. All things considered, I would certainly go back! Read more
