I was a bit skeptical when ordering from this establishment, but again, thanks to Groupon I decided to give it a shot and I was... not disappointed, much. It was a bit disappointing to find out after the fact that I couldn't use the Groupon for takeout so Iended up having to pay full price. After getting hoke and digging in I didn'tind that after all as I will be orderingagain. The pizza was fantastic!! I got the Margherita Pizza ???? which was delicious ????. The dough was perfect and firmenough to hold without it flopping over, the toppings were full sliced tomatoes so you got a peice with every bite, and it wascrispy without being burnt. I've had some trouble finding an establishment that can make a mean Steak and Cheese Bomb. Let metell you that Windmill Tavern has got you covered. You'll have to request that pepper's and mushrooms be added to your order tomake it a Bomb, however, it's the best Steak and Cheese I've had since moving to CT from Boston. They have great specials andKaraoke ever second and fourth Tuesday of the month, if I am remembering correctly. Karaoke will be my mission for my secondvisit. ???????????? We go the Windmill EVERY Sunday for a very special lunch/dinner. Diego, the Chef, is absolutely wonderful! He comes up with... the most delicious dishes possible. He never fails to impress. The Staff is wonderfully attentive and very patient. TheWindmill makes you feel like you are going to a friend's house...everyone there is friendly. Read more

Such a lovely and accommodating place! The staff are so kind hearted and helpful with every ask you make! Our waitress Jeanie... (so sorry if I butchered the spelling) was beyond sweet and made everyone in my party feel well cared for! The food is beyonddelicious and the drinks are incredibly well crafted. We ordered hotdogs, we doubt it because they were really cheap compared to others, sausage had a good taste, with a lot of... variety on the menu, nice staff (on the phone/at the restaurant). We will come back for happy hour! Read more

This was an amazing little place. The prices were great and we loved the Windmill sampler with perogies, potato pancakes, and... assorted wursts. I couldn"t stop eating. The 1/2 half pound gorgonzola stuffed angus burger with candied bacon wasoutstanding. The clams casino was very delicious too. We had to get a tshirt because we loved it so much! Read more
