This was a new great little restaurant in Downtown Stratford. I had just come back from a whirlwind drive to a family wedding in... the states and needed a place to eat and walking around I found this place. They mentioned it was a combination of tworestaurants combined into one (Old Man&Son and Pollo Morta) the menu was great I had a chicken wrap and water to drink. Stopped in for a treat, boy, did I get what I bargained for! Start with Funky decor, big comfy booths, friendly/skilled staff;... the food was fresh, full of flavour, and just delicious. I tried the Nashville Chicken sandwich (delightfully and seriouslyspicy - not just heat though - flavour of dried peppers, distinct from simple heat came through clearly), Parm Fries (halfserving was a good size), and a root beer float. I ordered the Simple burger at this location while visiting the city. Despite its looks, don’t let the photo fool you. For a... burger on their menu with objectively less toppings than every other option, it manages to deliver large flavours thanks to itssauce. I loved eating this thing. It was perfect diner grub that satisfied my cravings for that day. I will be trying theirother burgers next time I’m around the area. Read more

Best burger in town. Simple. (Burger Queen) I love a thin smash burger with just the right amount of toppings (and amazing dill... pickles!). Burger to bun ratio is excellent and you can customize your burg to your liking. Bonus points for best name ever fora veggie burger (Drag Diva) haha. If burgers aren't your thing, you can also choose fried chicken (Polla Morta) orbrunch/brekkie if you arrive in the morning(ish) hours (Old Man). Breakfast and not breakfast times is pretty much the best.Also have pizza but have not tried as of yet. (Pie Hole). It is really freeing to choose from a variety of food choices in onespot, as well as customizing sides which are all so delicious. Attentive service, and fun atmosphere.
