I wasn\'t expecting the pizza to be really good. I\'ve eaten pizza at Lombardi\'s in Manhattan, the birthplace of pizza, and so... my expectations for what I consider to be \"excellent to exceptional\" are really high.\n\nI swear, this pizza meets thoseexpectations. It\'s only the second place I\'ve eaten pizza that came up to the standard set by Lombardi\'s, since I leftManhattan. So, it\'s not an impossible standard, just REALLY high. It\'s a thin, floppy crust (like pizza should be), andexquisite toppings and high quality cheese, cooked just right.\n\nUntil this, my favourite pizza place (for food quality anyway)was Pino\'s. And I\'m telling you, Pie Hole\'s pizza was better than Pino\'s. Is it as good as Lombardi\'s? No, but that\'s animpossible goal (if you served me a pizza from Lombardi\'s but told me it was from somewhere else, I\'d probably tell you it\'s*close* to being as good as Lombardi\'s; I\'m biased). But it\'s damn close. In the same ballpark. Up there in the 99thpercentile of pizzas.\n\nOrder a pizza from Pie Hole Pizza. You\'ll enjoy it immensely. Just fine, nothing special. Maybe just not for me. Our bacon goat cheese pesto pizza was quite salty and didn\'t have a lot of... other flavour. I didn\'t mind the floppy texture, but others might be looking for a more robust crust.\n\nThe garlic dip wasgood, and the milkshake was great. Read more
