Gorgeous venue, slow service, cold food. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. While we would have preferred to be seated... indoors (should have specified this on our reservation request), the patio was lovely. We arrived for our dinner reservationonly to be ignored by the person at the host station and told someone else would help us as they walked away. Once seated, noone greeted us for about 10 minutes, which felt exceptionally long. Thankfully, our server was attentive and patient. Sadly, ourfood was lukewarm (lamb) and fries undercooked (cheese burger). The Nam khao was deliciousness on a plate. The quality ofservice from our server made up for the initial wait but we were disappointed in the quality of our meal. Read more
My wife and I stopped here on the long weekend for dinner. What an amazing restaurant. The decor inside is very tastefully done,... and maintains the heritage of the church. The food was delicious, and the prices were INCREDIBLE. We had the mussels for ourappetizer, the braised short rib and seafood mac & cheese for our entrees, and lemon panacotta and crème brûlée for ourdesserts. All of that food was only $95, including tax! I would highly recommend this spot, and will hopefully be back soon. Read more
Amazing venue paired with excellent food. It's not everyday you can eat in a church. Menu was surprisingly diverse. Worth the... time traveling from Toronto. Will come back in warmer temperatures to visit the patio. Read more
The environment here is very good. It used to be a church. There is candlelight and music at night, and the price is not... expensive. The quality of the dishes is good. There seems to be room upstairs, and it is said that the environment is also verygood. I will definitely visit again next time I pass by this town. Read more
This place looks phenomenal, but customer service was shockingly unacceptable. I drove over to Stratford for this particular... show and decided to stay the night to avoid late night drive back to Toronto. Bought tickets for a dinner table (show), bookedaccommodations and packed. The reservation was for 8:30, I get there and the place is packed, there’s another group ahead ofme to be seated and there are no tables. After waiting around for a while, the owner tells me he doesn’t have a table becausemore people showed up (so you couldn’t keep my paid table for me??) but he add a stool to the already packed bar. In trying toexplain that I paid for a table to have dinner, I’m told to either take the bar seat or get a refund and leave as his energyis needed elsewhere. At this point he’s so upset that he turned red and impatiently left me standing there. I wanted to seethe show, so I sat at the bar shoulder to shoulder with others (so much for distancing), but the anticipation and excitement wasfar replaced by disappointment and disrespect. I was later offered a table when one became available, and he offered to cover mydrinks to make it up, but I was not interested in the offer. The show was amazing; too bad it turned out that way. An outstanding experience in both food and atmosphere. Service was superb with very attentive and kind staff. We ordered the... dumplings, tuna salad and a Thai curry with noodles. Excellent! Stunning and unique restaurant in Stratford. We had a great experience and enjoyed our meals. Only word of caution is that it... takes quite a long time to get your food, so plan for a longer dinner experience. There is a lot of variety on the menu and nicevegetarian options. We ordered the brie appetizer, burger and thai noodles for dinner. The portions are generous. Read more
