I've never written an online review before, but I have to let everyone know how stellar my duck leg confit was last night!! It... came with garlic grits, pickled fiddleheads, grilled asparagus, a fried duck egg and spectacular duck breast pancetta. It wasabsolutely divine!! So refreshing to experience bright new flavours. I will definitely return!!! Read more

I?ve been a couple times and finally decided to leave a review : Tacos were amazing! Also have tried a couple of the small... plates and they are equally as tasty. Not sure if some of those past reviews are just some growing pains or maybe the wrongclientele, but I?ve never been disappointed! Read more

Good enough! The vibe of the room is a little sterile - a bit of a "hotel bar" kind of look - but it's nice enough for a... post-theatre Noah. They're currently offering a late-night Loatian menu, which is good fun and tasty. Overall it's not asenergetic or well-thought-out as the space's previous iteration, Down The Street, but it's good enough. Read more

I ordered spareribs and pork (substitute because they were out of beef). I received 1 rib (with barely any meat) and a 1 inch... circumference of pork, with plain lettuce on the side, two paper thin slices of apple and a few thin slices of pickled onion. Iasked the waitress if this was a joke at $25 a plate. She said and talked to the chef and came back with him refusing to doanything about it and claiming the preparation was worth it. I told her it was ridiculous and took a picture, my friends wouldnot believe it! I wish I could post it for you to see. My niece ordered the pasta with vegetables and this "special" cheese. Shereceived less than a cup of pasta, with hardly any cheese and filled with, as she said..."slimy onions". Since we had to be atthe theatre we had to eat and leave. The waitress came back and said the chef offered me a gluten free dessert instead of morefood!*# and we took it, and shared it because we were starving! It was 1/4 cup of chocolate pudding with 3-4 sliced strawberriesand 6 blueberries. I have eaten in many countries and never left so hungry that we had to stop at a 7/11 and get some yogurt andcheese before our play. The one star is for the waitress, she tried. And by the way she told us this was pork country...so Iwould think pork would therefore be cheaper and in abundance, no? U-n-b-e-l-i-e-v-a-b-l-e!!! Read more

Sunday evening dinner and when we arrived it was very quiet. There is a small patio at the front but we elected for inside. A... stylishly decorated place nice seating area, bar and an area at the back for large parties. My partner ordered ribs but foundthe portion too small and it came with a ridiculously small salad and nothing else. (thumbs down) His Black Swan EPA was reallygood. Food was v/tasty and they accommodated a menu change for my daughter very graciously. However for $16 the pasta portionwas small even for her! We were charged for bread, which arrived toasted but *cold* - so thumbs down. Overall, I loved theatmosphere, the decor, and service, but for the price we paid, we will not return. Read more
