Doesn?t get any better than Pizza 249! Pizza 249 is THE BEST PIZZA IN STRATHMORE! The crust is almost as good as the toppings,... and the wings are real wings, not ones that look like they came from a budgie. We have tried a few other pizza places in Strathmore and haven?t been very impressed. Happy that we changed it up last night and... ordered from 249 instead. Yes the price is a little higher then your regular franchise pizza place but way worth the extra $$for fresh ingredients and good tasting pizza. Very nice family with great customer service. We should all be supporting ourlocal family run businesses. We will definitely order from 249 pizza again. Read more
Really good staff, clean, great food ?.. i picked up the royal and a hawian ?. Cheese was on par , perfect crust, tons of... topings?. Ordered a couple pizzas just yesterday, I was taken by surprise by the two young guys working in the back and how polite and... friendly they were - I was early but was welcomed with a friendly hello and how can I help you today? Pizza was brought to mycar and they even apologized for my wait (even though I was early) they weren't late. Pizza was fantastic as always. I used to jump around town, from pizza place to pizza place. Whoever had a sale on I ordered from. That was until I discovered... Pizza 249. Remember that great 1990s pizza. Thick dough cooked perfectly, toppings that made your mouth water. Actual realfoods not loads of over processed pizza chain toppings. This is the place! They have the old school amazing pizza. Absolutely wonderful pizza. Something i definitely found myself getting as a nice treat. The owners are extremely nice people.... Definitely a hardworking bunch. My family with gluten allergies liked their crust. Their hours are a little tricky to workaround sometimes but being a small business during covid i completely understand. Worst service! I phoned in an order for "delivery". Somehow they misinterpreted my request for delivery and put it down as a... pickup. When I called after over an hour waiting for my order, was told it was put down as a pickup.! Got the pizzas and pizzaswere cold, but was told "It is what it is".
