I am shocked by some of the bad reviews. We?ve been ordering from China Cook for yeeeeaars and it is sooo good. Anytime our... family comes in they demand we order. The delivery drivers are so nice and they are always faster than they say they will be. Welove their house fried rice, beef and vegetable, crab rangoons, lo mein..everything we?ve had. This place is close to my house and ordered from here a few times and hoping it would get better but it didn't. Worst part lunch... specials are pricey and you get a few pieces of meat and all vegetables and rice galore. I like to think that I know goodChinese food and this place isn't it. Do yourself a favor and order from Golden Bowl or 4 Seasons in the same area. Read more
The food is good, but I get charged $80 for 3 General Tso' and 2 Orange Chickens I was told during dinner they are $12 a piece.... Where is the extra $20 coming from? Ok, I know Illinois has some hellava taxes but come on! The first few times I didn't thinkanything of it because we really liked the food, but let's not overcharge customers. I also order during lunch twice and wastold $80 at this time of the day that the dinners are $9.00 a piece. Ugh! Just when I thought we found a good place to eat. I always get the orange tofu from here, I love the taste. I wish their delivery was better because the drivers are always mean... and demanding (to the point they ask how much you are going to tip and screaming instead of knocking) they also dont followdelivery instructions but picking up food from here is never an issue. Last time I will be coming here. If I wanted a large beef broccoli with hardly any meat I would've just asked for a veggie meal.... The prices have gone high. Pot stickers tasted bland from a frozen bag not fresh at all. Pork eggs contained shrimp and I don'teat that. Singapore noodles shrimp is disgusting not deceived at all. Go look elsewhere for better Chinese food. Read more
