It was an okay restaurant. I've eaten at a few Mexican style places and this one just wasn't as tasty as some of the others. El... Campesino for example, is toward the other side of Streetsboro, and for some reason I liked their food better. It just tastedmediocre here. The service was fast and friendly, but I was not impressed with the food. Even the chips and salsa were "eh".Maybe my dish just wasn't their best. It was a chicken burrito and chicken enchilada. And some of my chicken had gristle orsomething in it, so that didn't help. Maybe I'll try it again one day, but with other options around, probably not worth therisk. Read more
The place is inviting and decorated nicely. Unfortunately the food was a little lacking. It came out just above room temperature... ten minutes after ordering. Super fast but I would expect hot for that speed assuming they are using microwaves or a hot welland almost no one else was in the restaurant. I got the enchilada sampler. It all tasted good except the chicken which was halfa breast stuffed in a shell not shredded. Because of that it needed lots more sauce. We ate quickly not to complain but had aproblem flagging down someone to close out. They seemed to not want to make eye contact. My husband and I have been coming to Don Patron since it opened. We love the dim light atmosphere and how quiet it is. The food... is delicious. But what I really come for is their MAGNIFICENT MARGARITAS! They make the best drinks around! You have to trythese and they don't skimp on the alcohol. Read more
Small restaurant at the end of a strip mall. It has a nice outdoor seating area. The bar is in the front area and then dining in... the back. The decor is well done. Service was friendly and efficient. We didn't have to wait long for our food. Everything wasgood. The people who had beans said they were different but really good. Definitely better than the other place down the block. Only problem is that the food wasn't temperature hot enough. The plate... was way hotter than the meal. On the plus side the food was decent and plentiful. I tried but couldn't finish the 3 chickenenchiladas with rice and substituted the salad for beans. Another plus was the available upon request slightly spicier homemadesalsa. I will return before departing Streetsboro in the near future. Read more
The food wasn't as good as it used to be. And the servers were on the rude side. At one point I'm pretty sure they were talking... about me in Spanish because they were talking and laughing in front of me and kept smiling at me. Used to be my favorite Mexicanrestaurant. But I might be looking elsewhere. Read more
