This business is a big part of the Strong community. The structure is well built and has gone with a polished wood look that... compliments its small town environment. They have a restaurant that serves remarkable meals. What makes it remarkable you ask.First, it is always well-prepared and hearty. Next, the prices are very reasonable considering their somewhat remote location.Lastly, the service is always friendly. Very goof and pleasant friendly staff. Steak tips delicious.
So I was hungry. Went to the white elephant. The air conditioning was prob set at 50 deg. Asked the waitress could she pls turn... it off. Replied she wasn't allowed. So I get my breakfast, eggs was cold, sausage was like warm, and toast was burnt. Whatshould have been a free meal, was slightly discounted. My first and last trip. Read more
Down home breakfast with friendly fast service. Loved that we got to use the coffee bar from the store to mix our own coffee up.... Biscuits and gravy done right! Only took off a star due to limited menu and tables were a little sticky (finish not dirty, but Istuck to them which was distracting) Read more

This was a great stop for us to grab some breakfast as we drove from Rangeley to Moosehead Lake. A combination convenience store... and restaurant, it was perfect for us to grab a quick breakfast as we continued on our way. Make sure to overtip and help outthe short staffed kitchen. Read more
This place is a cute little sore with a restaurant inside the store. The restaurant is fairly decent, however they claim the... mashed potatoes are supposed to be real mashed potatoes, however they turn out to be instant mashed potatoes. The rest of thefood seems to be homemade. The store/restaurant was fairly clean and the staff super friendly and pleasant. The store has alittle bit of everything to include kitchen spices and on the other side of the store is a basic convenience store. Overall thisis a cute place to stop with pretty decent food and a very decent menu. Read more
