Love some tacos. Barrio doesn't disappoint. Customizable food is always nice but I typically gravitate towards the selections of... their own masterpieces. For years I?ve had so many people tell me I need to try Barrio. Finally today we gave it a shot. The food was good. We both... agreed we were not a fan of the steak though. It had an odd taste. It kind of tasted like jerky in a way. The chicken was thebest protein we got. Tacos seem to get you more bang for you buck. The bowl was very small and didn?t have much in it but ourtacos were over loaded. Crab Rangoon dip was really good and tasted exactly like a crab Rangoon but I think it would be betterto eat just on its own. It didn?t mix well with the food. Overall it was good and we do plan to return one day but it isslightly overrated in my opinion. We just didn?t see what makes it so amazing that it?s constantly being talked abouteverywhere. The food was good, place is neatly decorated. I personally think they are a little over-priced for what you get, but that seems... to be the case everywhere since this whole taco craze thing started years back. Got 3 small tacos, a short margarita and my billwas $27. So like I said, good, but expensive for the amount you get. Read more
Not bad but not anything to write home about. Great atmosphere, good service. My food was bland at most but, then it could be my... selections as I did the build your own. I like that they offer whole30 options (if you know what you're doing) vegan and glutenfree options as well. The mango sauce is fabulous. I would pair that with the shrimp and corn salsa. Will probably do that nexttime. *fingers crossed* Still rooting for you Barrio, but as a chef I am damn honest. Read more
My first time in Barrio! It won?t be my last. Our server, Amanda, did a wonderful job. I loved being able to create my own taco... from a huge list of fresh ingredients.
