Our waitress had no sense of urgency. She forgot to put in our appetizer which was probably a blessing in disguise. I had the... lobster roll which had 0 flavor other than the coleslaw and bares no resemblance to a true New England style lobster roll. Mywife had the signature short rib which was dry and flavorless. My young daughter had the butter noodles which again lacked anyflavor. I thought she was being difficult until I tasted the flavorless dry noodle…sans butter. The decor was very nice butthe volume of the live music was blaring. We will NOT be coming back. Read more
We stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant on a trip from Pennsylvania to Michigan a while back. Planned a visit into the... itinerary for this trip to bring our daughter and son-in-law. Phenomenal experience! We started off with the French Dip Flatbread, and my meal was the Scallops with Blue Crab Risotto,... Mushrooms, Asparagus and Capers. I drank a Strawberry Lemon Drop Martini, and had a Créme Caramel for dessert. Every singlething was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Service with Steve was perfect! Went there last night for my sister's birthday with both of our partners. The four of us had an excellent time. The place was... very busy and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our server Jennifer was absolutely amazing, service was top notch. The foodwas incredible. We started with the French onion soup flatbread, and I'll go back just for that! I got to check out square 22 with one of my customers I work with. First impressions were looks like a normal place but when you... enter. This place is amazing when you walk in. The interior was really amazing. The service was also really good as well theserver! She checked up on us a lot! The food was very fresh tasting if I ever come to Strongsville I will come back to give it atry agains. The only thing that I didn't like was the amount of fries I thought we could have gotten more. Every dish we've had here is cooked to perfection. The bone marrow appetizer is amazing. The filet is as good as any steak on... any menu. The bone in pork chop is out of this world. The side dishes are great, the desserts are wonderful and the drinks areexpertly crafted. The servers are knowledgeable, pleasant and attentive. Ordered Scallops with Pesto Risotto. Scallops over a risotto is a favorite of mine usually. Scallops were coated with too much... salt and risotto was so over seasoned with garlic that I could not finish it. To spend $50 for an entree that was improperlyseasoned to the point I did not finish it was disappointing. Drinks to the end of entree was an hour. We decided to orderdessert and that alone was another hour. Drinks and dessert were good but not exceptional in my opinion. Like trying newrestaurants but I don't need to return to Square 22.
