I wish I could give zero stars. After waiting 20 minutes to be seated with no one at the host desk we decided to seat ourselves.... The waitress noticed right away that we had sat down but took 10 minutes to even ask us for our drink orders. After telling thewaitress we had somewhere to be she took another 30 minutes to take our food orders. (Many other tables were asking how longuntil they get their food) After waiting another 45 minutes for our food we asked for the check and the food to be boxed upbecause we had to leave. It then took her another 10 MINUTES to bring our check, then ANOTHER 10 minutes to bring out our food.About to leave with our food, we realized she had not gave us the soup we ordered, so had to wait again for 5 minutes for her tojust bring us soup in a cup. Besides the horrible service the food is disgusting, soggy and flavorless. They are charging 10times what their food is worth. Most ridiculous part was paying $10 plus tax for a TABLESPOON of hummus. This was our last night in town decided to head to main street. Newberry's was the 1st place we saw and decided to try it all... tables were filled outside. So we went inside. Great looking restaurant. They had 2 younger boys running around and one women.Clearly you can tell they were short handed. But inside only 5 tables with 2 people and about 4 people at the bar. We finallygot a table. Ordered our drinks and meals. Wife's Martini was basically straight Vodka she drank it but hated it. We orderedthe pretzel for a app had no taste but the mustard was in a cup looked dried up like it was sitting all night. Then I orderedthe fish and chips no flavor was mainly breading I picked through both pieces. My wife's second drink was different but alsojust straight Alcohol. They need to find a good bartender, waitress, and cook we will definitely not come back when we returnto area. It's sad because it's a nice looking place. I felt bad for both boys running around all night though it was to much forthem both. Our waitress seemed flustered think it's mainly overwhelming for them all. Read more

This was an AWESOME establishment! It was extremely busy on the Saturday we went., so we sat in the basement part. Being in... the basement restaurant was like being in your rich uncle's house. Bookshelves, fireplace and really nice looking loungechairs. Nice atmosphere. Oh. The food was good. Read more
When driving through the adorable downtown of Stroudsburg, we noticed all the cute shops and chose Newberry’s Yard of Ale.... Beautiful, well kept restaurant with all the unique craft beers my husband loves to try. Ashley was an excellent hostess who wasperfect with her timing and grace. My Irish onion soup different but good and my husband ordered the cod sandwich which did notdisappoint. We will definitely be back in the future! Read more
This place is pretty cool inside. The burgers were amazing. Everyone at my table tried a different one. The goat cheese gravy... fries were super yummy. We all got a different desserts as well and the Tiramisu was my favorite. They're running a little slowso don't go starving and expect super quick service. They're doing the best they can with the few people that actually are stillworking much like many businesses today. This was a good find in a cute town! Read more
