A most stop place, the outside doesnt give much away but once you walk in that door everything changes. The place is stunning we... got there a little early and we waited in the lounge area with access to the full menu we had some amazing drinks from the bar.We waited very long seems as they forgot us but we enjoyed our time and not even realizing that 25 minutes had passed. Once wewere seated our beautiful waitress i dont remember her name but im sure she had red hair, she was amazing and had somerecommendations. We did have the special the 4 course and order from the regular menu everything we had was amazing ???????? wekept drinking also. The appetizers were good size and very flavorful and the main course was also tasty. We continued and order2 desserts and i have to say its the worst desserts ive had. Not only do they taste as they were made very early during the daybut you taste the refrigerator the desserts. I absolutely loved this place!!! It's so beautiful! I have been wanting to come here for so long and it was honestly worth the... wait! Our waiter was sweet! The food was so delish! The manager was great too! We had a wonderful time! I loved the waitingarea/bar! My husband and I had a great time in there while waiting for the rest of our party to come. The library was beautiful! Ambiance and service were good, but that's where the good ends. Everything we ordered was sub-par. The French bread was really... bad - chewy and almost no crunch. The hamachi crudo, little gems salad, and meatballs were acceptable. The mushroom papardellepasta had a funky flavor. Read more
Excellent atmosphere and service. Ordered the salmon which was very good. 4 stars because the drinks are wildly overpriced ($20... for a drink I’ve had better elsewhere for $12). Otherwise a great experience. Expect to spend at least $130 for 2 people withentrees, app and a drink each. Read more

After seeing all the lovely and amazing photos of this place from fellow Yelpers, we jumped on the chance to dine here when we... saw Firefly was one of the DineLA restaurant week restaurants. Booked this place a week ago and we got a perfect table next tothe fire place. The restaurant decor is amazing. It gives a wow factor to the whole atmosphere inside with a romanticfeel. After dropping off our car with valet, we couldn’t find the entrance as there was no sign of the restaurant. But Iremember some Yelpers mentioned an iconic black door. So we took a chance and went in through the black door. Once inside andseated, our friendly waiter came and offered us a pair of rose bobbly wine. As we were there for the dineLA menu, he quicklytook our order. We started with a salad and the cauliflower soup. The soup was very tasty with bacon and nuts. As for the maincourses, we had skirt steak and a striped bass. Both were delicious and artistically platted. I loved the bass with mashedpurple yum. The yum pure was sweet and smooth which was a perfect complement to the fish. Our desserts were coffee cake withice cream and a berry pastry I liked the coffee cake better as the ice cream goes well with coffee flavor lava cake. The wholeevening was a magical experience.
