Atmosphere: 2 of 2 Stars Food: 2 of 2 Stars Staff: 1 of 1 Stars SUMMARY: A pleasant mix of Asian cuisine comprising of gourmet... Sushi and delicious Hot Pot. My wife and I are in love with the sushi from the Worcester MA location and we are also avid hotpot consumers so we decided to try the Sturbridge location and we were extremely satisfied with the entire experience. Ourwaiter Anthony along with the hostess both did a great job. What?s better than having both hot pot and sushi under 1roof! ATMOSPHERE: The overall layout of the restaurant was beautiful. They had very nice decor and it was extremely spaciousgiven the 2 floors. The outside had a beautifully lit entrance path. The lighting was set just right with its slightdim. Feedback: I would highly recommend moving the location of where menus are kept, away from where people are waiting to beseated. A few waiters had to rush past us to either grab or return menus to the cabinet behind where we were standing, waitingto be seated. FOOD: We ordered the King Maki, Angel Maki, Yellowtail Nigiri, Shrimp Tempura Hand rolls, crab Rangoon, and endedwith the Deluxe Hot Pot for 2 with basic broth. There isn?t much more to say except that everything tasted delicious! Baba Sushiis definitely a professional sushi establishment and the quality of hot pot ingredients met our expectations. Whether you wantsushi or hot pot or both, you will be satisfied! STAFF: The hostess was such a kind young woman who made sure we were takencare of. We had a few minutes to wait but she kept making rounds in the hot pot seating area so that she would be able to seatus the moment a table opened up. She also helped out a bunch with bussing tables too! The service was great and the food/drinks tasted great, perfect night out with my friends. But a few hours later I was so... insanely SICK with food poisoning. I?ve eaten sushi hundreds of times all across the country and I?ve not once been sick fromit. I?m well aware that eating raw fish is always a risk but it?s truly unacceptable. I?m just extremely dissatisfiedconsidering the amount of trust I put in my sushi chef to prepare me safe food. Read more

Good sushi. They seem to try different things with the maki rolls, some are good some fall flat, but you get points for... trying. At the time of writing you had to make a reservation, they were not taking walk-ins. Read more

Visited Baba Sushi Saturday night and as usual everything was fantastic. Their sushi is always so fresh and the staff there is... the best! We usually sit at the bar and this was no exception and we had the pleasure of being served by Fischer! Fischer isalways on point with drinks, food or anything else you need. He is attentive without being overbearing. Another plus of sittingat the bar is you get to watch the experts making sushi. What knife skills!!! On to the food. We had the King roll which isAlaskan king crab. This is one of our go to rolls always a hit. We also had a spicy scallop roll and a rock and roll. All freshand perfect! Finished it off with two different orders of different kinds of tuna sashimi. They also have a decent collectionof craft beers which keeps hubby happy. Give them a try you won't be disappointed. If you like the location in and Worcester and you find yourself in Sturbridge, you'll feel right at home. Lots of space for tons... of seating and the food quality was fantastic. Get the oysters! The noodles were good, but nowhere near as impressive as thesushi and the oysters. The service was prompt and attentive. Did I mention the oysters? Yeah, try the oysters. Read more
