Great country bar. Bartender was very nice. Lots of locals but still feels welcoming. Good food with decent prices. Small... town feel and atmosphere. If you are from Chicago or Milwaukee you'll like the change of pace. Pizzas on old snow coaster panswas excellent! Read more
Best Frog legs I've had in Door County. Taco Tuesday, Wing Wednesday and Slider Thursday are good too.

I have been going to the Little Brown Jug for many years and have never experienced food as terrible as I did on my recent visit... here. The menu is overpriced, the fish was undercooked, the shrimp was greasy and flavorless and the cook was wasted! Nicefacelift on the building but I refuse to pay high prices for crappy food to pay for it. I will never step foot in this placeagain! The rest of our group had various items and not one of us was impressed. We couldn't even eat the onion rings becausethe batter wasn't cooked. Save your money and do not eat here!! The Prime Rib sandwich isn't even Prime Rib!! If the new ownerhas a clue he better wake up or shrink his menu to frozen Pizza and close the Kitchen! Don't take my word for it read the otherreviews...Do not consider any reviews that are a year or better old. This place was awesome then but new ownership is ruiningits reputation. TOURISTS BEWARE!!! THHEY DONT WANT YOU IN THIEIR ESTABLISHMENT!! We just got done eating here and we are from out of town. We... asked for a pizza and we were told that they do not make pizzas on Friday night. Twenty minutes later, the table next to us hadTWO pizzas delivered to their table!!! They advertise on their sign that they have homemade pizzas, again they are liars sodon't believe anything that they say. Not only that, their philly sucked a big one. It had one piece of meat on it and theyslapped one piece of cheese on it. The fried shrimp was nasty and the fried fish was over cooked. Their "homemade" Cole saw wasjust vinegar and lettuce. I recommend that if you are not from Little Sturgeon, don't eat here. They will discriminate againstyou and it's not even worth spending you're money there anyways. I recommend Greystone Castle in Sturgeon Bay. Their food isamazing and they don't lie to you. Read more
I had a mushroom and swiss burger and it was very good. However when I went to pay my bill the price I was told was different... then what was on the menu. It was $4 more. If that is correct they need to update their menu with the correct prices. Also Ihad a few drinks that were $6. When I bought the 3rd drink he said it was $10??? Read more
