Amazing food! Really good service! We ordered the pesto with goat cheese for an appetizer. Dinner was lamb shank, and chicken &... spinach ravioli and then tiramasu for desert!! Great spot for a romantic dinner. My wife and I are in town for our wedding anniversary. We love Italian food and searched... Google for a place and found this. Food, drinks, service were amazing. We waited 45 minutes for a table. Well worth it. Ravioli was wonderful. Duck in Madeira... sauce was tender and flavorful. The Italian coffee was the equivalent of dessert. But we ordered dessert as well! A wonderfulexperience. Read more
This is one of our "go to's" in town because it's consistently amazing. Last night it was exceptional. If you have never tried... the Pesto Torta you're missing out! The beef tenderloin was made to perfection. The duck and the calamari pasta dish were bothincredible as well. We love the wine and dessert options.Our server Rachel was excellent. Completely impressed with our dinner and service last night! If there were more stars I would have selected them. We were in Sturgeon Bay for a sister?s trip and my birthday. We called and this restaurant didn?t take reservations so we went... anyway and were told it was a 60 minute wait. I commented on all of the empty tables and ?Debbie? reiterated, RUDELY, how itwould be a 60 minute wait and we could not wait there. What?? She would call our cell when a table opened up. She was outwardlyrude to the elderly couple behind us also. NOT acceptable. We went across the street to Crate and were treated exceptionallywell! The food was phenomenal and the service was unparalleled. Elijah took great care of us. I went back over to the Italianrestaurant after dinner and asked to speak to the owner. He came out of the kitchen and not only did he defend Debbie?sbehavior, he had the audacity to ask me if I?ve ever been in the hospitality industry. Yes, I have. Even then, he defendedher.
