What a delightful waterfront restaurant! We highly recommend their Door Co seafood chowder. Every spoonful is filled with chunks... of seafood. Although they were short staffed, the wait staff was very friendly and efficient. Every night has a special. Weenjoyed the wings. A very good variety of mild to spicy coatings. Dining inside, on an enclosed porch and outside. Read more

Fun place on the waterfront. My wife and I are in Door County for our anniversary. We stayed in Sturgeon Bay and wanted to find... a fun place, with outdoor seating and a great Bloody Mary. All the boxes were checked at Waterfront Mary?s! I love Bloody Mary?sand this one was great. Not bitter or overly salty. The food was pretty good too. I really liked my Philly Cheesesteak and thecrab cakes for an app were great. Worth a stop! Read more

Waterfront Mary?s is a casual dining experience. Lots of noisy fun loving laughter at the bar, dogs with their owners, and... plenty of beer, wine, and signature cocktails. The fish boil was a unique and exciting experience. The Boil Master, MikeJensen, enjoys his job and explaining the origins of a fish boil. Seeing him throw kerosene on the flames and the fiery blastthat resulted was memorable. Fish boils always conclude with cherry pie a la mode. Read more

I have been travelung the US in an RV full-time since December 2021. This is the first restaurant I have felt the need to post... a review. My first comment has to be about their customer service. Love is my server and had been by FAR the best server I haveencountered in 8 months and 7 states. She has first hand knowledge of the menu. When you ask if she has a recommendation she canand will gladly give you one. In fact, she lights up when she talks about her favorites. Second, the food...I have NEVERposted a picture of my food on Facebook before, until today. I just told 5000 people about this place and how this is by far thebest seafood I have had and I am from the PNW. The clam chowder and Walley fish sandwich is absolutely amazing. Third, Icannit wnd this review without talking about the atmosphere. It doesn't look like much from the front but you walk into alittle piece of heaven when you walk through the doors. Do yourself a favor and visit Warerfront Mary's Bar and Grill! Read more

We had a really nice rainy evening here! We didn?t have any idea what a fish boil was before this experience, and we really... enjoyed Mike who shared the history and cultural significance of the fish boil while preparing the food. And the food wasdelicious?our 6 and 4 yo also enjoyed it, too. Big portions, so the four of us shared two plates (2 adults and 2 kids). Therewas also cherry pie and ice cream served. So good. They gave our kids a couple extra pieces of pie for free. Our server waslovely and we enjoyed chatting with some other visitors at our same table. I gave 4/5 stars, because, although we called aheadand provided credit card info over the phone to hold a reservation, they did not have us on the list when we arrived. Theythankfully still fit us in. :) Read more

We stayed at the Harbor Beach Resort for our off-season getaway and didn't realize Waterfront Mary's was just a stone's throw... away. I had been there before in the summer and it was really crowded. We signed up for the first fish boil we had ever been to.Teresa, our server, explained the process. It's really an event, where Mike tells a story of the origins of the fish boil andthey ignite a big fire and then ring a bell for the boil over. Then you go back inside and the server gives you your individualplate with fish, onions, potatoes and carrots and rye bread and a piece of cherry pie. It was just the perfect meal andexperience. They use cod, not trout or a local white fish, so it's not fishy at all. The fish was flaky and delicious and youcould eat everything on your plate. We had deep fried ravioli as an appetizer and it was phenomenal! I never had deep friedravioli with a pepper jack cheese, which I'm pretty sure it was. It was tangy and delicious. Since we were staying at the resortwe spent almost every day at Waterfront Mary's. The staff was absolutely phenomenal. In particular, our favorite bartendersQuintin and Nealy were super helpful and friendly. Samantha, the resort dog, was a good girl. In fact, everyone was friendlyand we felt like we were home. On Sunday, we were treated to a band called The Ultimate Bratwurst. Heck, even the band wasfriendly! We hated to leave and will most likely find our way back here some day in the future. Read more
