Waited all year to finally get here. The service was awesome. The food was awesome and I even tried a incredible dessert called... turtle cheesecake cone. The trip was so worth it. I can't go to North Bay without stopping in Sturgeon Falls for The Riv. Read more

Every time we travel through Sturgeon Falls we stop at the RIV chip stand and then go to the large general store around the... corner. The poutine is amazing, crispy fries, dark gravy, delicious curds. it is very filling. My daughter has a pogo and shedoes love it. My hubby orders fish and chips. excellent. The only thing is the milkshake. Too sweet! The vanilla milkshake isso sugary sweet, and we like sweet. The next time, I will ask them to add the vanilla but not the sugar. Will go again! Read more
10/10 will stop again! I'm from Sudbury and drive through all the time, finally decided to stop in here after everyone tells me... about it and they're right! I got a pulled pork poutine and it reminds me of Ribfest ?? girlfriend got a chicken ceasar wrap andit reminded us both when Leslie's had it on the menu back in the day. So wonderful! The owner even explained to us they have moved over to fresh local ingredients. So.. healthier + gourmet +... Canadien = amazing!!! Try the Pumpkin Spice Milkshake; honestly, I was hesitant, but WOW! Was incredible and again, house-madefresh Pumpkin Spice base with local ingredients and house-made Pumpkin Marshmallows on top (I wish I had photographed). Noteseating is outside and this is a 3-season restaurant, so your time is limited, to enjoy for 2020, or you'll have to wait untilSpring to enjoy this yumminess!! Read more
