Very nice campground only downfall is the noise from Glencoe campground next door.
Don?t know why people say it?s quiet. Glenco is so close they keep you up all night. They do have nice shaded areas. The showers... are ok not the cleanest or dirtiest. When covid hit we could not attend the sturgis rally. To this day we still can not attend. These people refuse to issue me a... refund but will keep my reservations even though I will not be visiting. Hard earned money for a vacation I can no longer take."ASHLEYS" excuse was that my reservations were for 2020 and she no longer had my card number. Horrible people who only wantmoney. I will never reccomend this place to anyone. Be aware if you make plans they will keep all your money. Absolute SCAM! Wemost definitely will not be visiting in the future hence the refund. You don't charge until day of visit so your excuse also isnot valid but thank you. Enjoy your family business it's terribly ran. Read more
Staying here again for the 2021 rally and as always, they are awesome! If you ever come to Sturgis and want a good safe place... to stay whether you're pitching a tent or bringing a camper, this is the best place to be. Absolutely awesome ! Thanks foranother great stay. Read more
Absolute perfect experience at the Lamphere campground. Stay there for the 80th rally 38-ft fifth wheel toy hauler easily... navigated their campground roads and more than ample large pull through camping sites. First night we got there a day early theyaccommodated us in a self-contained area that we stayed in that was close to our site we used the bath houses the first nightthey were clean and the showers had excellent water pressure. Camping sites are flat and level and they have some trees forshade. Overall great experience at this campground perfect location and quiet at night time close to Full throttle, Buffalo Chipand Steel pony. They have a small little convenience Mart in the registration building for the last minute essentials and theyalso had a small restaurant takeout style with outdoor picnic seating under an open wall pavilion. First trip to the rally and stayed here to join friends. Spent two nights and was beyond impressed. I had reservations for... Wednesday night but arrived Tuesday and it was easy to tack on the one night. $30 a night during the rally seems very fair. Thepark was extremely clean and easy to get around. Bathrooms and showers were clean and had plenty of hot water. General store wasconvenient and prices weren't TOO crazy. Definitely will stay again in the future!! Read more
Stayed here during the rally. Great place to stay. It was close to town but yet quiet at night. You could here the music from... the surrounding campgrounds but quiet enough to get some sleep. The staff was friendly and helpful. The store had anything youcould need or forgot. They served breakfast and dinners for a reasonable price. The showers were always clean and had hotwater. For $23 a night what more could you ask for? Read more
