i used to work here. This is my honest experience. At first it was good, there are positive reviews made about me. The customers... loved me, the store relied on me considering I worked with 2 non english speakers. eventually I saw the dirty side of mymanager. Daniela Malku. My coworkers never once wore gloves when they made food. My manager would tell me to rinse the cups thati dropped on the dirty greasy floor and reuse them, proving that all products were unsanitary to a certain degree. Especiallythe food. This is a health code violation, cross-contamination AND inadequate kitchen sanitation. The 2 guys got fired, and for2 weeks I ran the store all by myself. Id wake up at 3 am, open the store at 4, and close it at 4-6 pm. Those are 12-14 hrshifts which is illegal for a 15 year old, yes i was 15 at the time. After doing all that I still had to pay for my coffee andshow her the receipt. I was responsible to pay all cash register shortages when the camera proves i never stole a dime. I neverpayed anything. Now I work at a place with ACTUAL management, making me realize just how awful and illegal working here was.Shame on you Daniela Malku, and shame on you Kardo Rasha. They should atleast tell you they are out of a certain donut before giving you a random one you probably don?t even like and end... up wasting. And why are they always out of the blueberry donuts, especially at 8 in the morning. Clearly they are most commonlybought so should they make extra or something? Also the iced coffees are horrible, how you going to work a coffee place and notknow how to make coffee? This location has gone downhill since our last visit a couple of years ago (now August 2022). We entered at 9:30 am as the only... customers to find every table was filthy and the staff were watching videos on their phones. We went ahead and ordered a fewdonuts, a breakfast sandwich, and coffee. After about 15 minutes the staff got to our sandwiches. The premade eggs were set onthe bare counter while the rest of the sandwiches were assembled prior to adding. The coffee was served cold. We asked for a newcoffee which required several minutes to make. They advertise as a coffee shop with no coffee during breakfast hours. Aside fromthe service, we will not go back due to the lack of cleanliness throughout the restaurant. This is unfortunate because thislocation was very good a couple years back. Read more
Only giving them one cause I can't give them less. Instead of getting hot sandwiches they serve them cold also ordered a tomato... pesto sandwich got it with no pesto and a bunch of excuses for the female manager. Rude service. Probably better off go to theshop on hwy 20 in racine. Read more
I will never order from this place again my food tasted horrible and it looks like they don't clean there grease or their stove... top because the way my food looked and tasted. You should be ashamed for selling day old doughnuts as fresh for $9 /half dozen on Sunday at 7 A.M. I would have driven the... extra half mile to Kwik Trip for better but I thought a business/bakery could do better. Guess you won't wonder when you're outof business Read more
