Reviews for Da Vinci Bistro in Sudbury, MA

Had high hopes for this place since a friend said it was their favorite. It was way over-priced mediocre food with no sides, not... even a 50 cent bowl of salad, served by friendly waitstaff. These are North End prices in a former Friendly's in Sudbury. It'spresented as an Italian restaurant but the Salsa and Middle Eastern music was so loud we almost had to yell to hear each other. The lasagna we ordered was supposed to have beef in it but we couldn't find any. The gnocchi was good but not much of it. Someone in a previous review compared the portions to a cereal bowl. That sums it up. $96 for two entrees, one Caesar salad, oneadult beverage and one dessert. Someone else said in their review that they changed the tip amount on their slip after theyleft, not good. There are too many other restaurants around to go back to this place. Read more

The food was okay but way overpriced for what it is, they have gluten free options which is the main reason we went there. But... it was very disappointed to see that they changed the tip (although I left a decent tip). This was a first for me but whatever, they probably figured that no one will complain over few dollars which is true, no one complains but won't go back either. Read more

We absolutely loved our experience! Great ambiance, great service and great food. We had the steamers for an appetizer. We both... ordered the lamb chops which were delicious! And for dessert we split the coconut mousse...which was a perfect ending. I can'twait to go back! Read more

Delicious dinner for our anniversary. My husband was in hot water because he had not made a reservation for our special dinner.... He learned about this place online and got himself out of hot water. Delicious dinner, many reasonably priced entrees, greatservice and a very attentive chef. We will definitely be back! Read more

Wow just wow!! We picked a perfect spot for our girls night out. I am usually not a big fan of Italian food but this place... changed my perspective. Super delicious! We got calamari, mussels and mozzarella&tomatoes. Main dish we got gnocchi and lampchops. They were delicious. Their rose sangria was yumm! The great finale with tiramisu. The service was great. Chef Peppinostopped by and talked to us. He is super nice. I learned that he has 4 other restaurants including one of my favorite dosa placein Moody st waltham Peppino's dosa, which i reviewed a year ago. Definetely will visit hisnother places as well. Wel done Chef!! Read more

Very clean and satisfying experience at the Da Vinci restaurant. The cocktails were flavorful and the food was delicious. We... went for the citrus martini and the sidecar for our drinks. The lamb chops and the masala ravioli was our main course topped offwith the tiramisu cake and the creme brulee. The only criticism would be for the tiramisu cake which was overtly sweet and was abit low on the coffee flavor. Our servers were very well trained, wore masks and were very respectful. Would visit again! Read more
