My first time in Sudbury this weekend, I ventured to the closest cafe for breakfast this morning. Got the breakfast bagel... sandwich recommended by the staff and loved it! I also got a mocha to go and they even agreed to fill my water bottle for me:) I went back for dinner and picked up the picnic sandwich , and as usual the recommendation was on point:) Thank you to theteam that runs this very welcoming cafe!! This place is FANTASTIC!!!! I love the fun atmosphere, all the plants, and the wonderful staff!! They offer some of the best... gluten-free and vegan desserts I've ever seen in this city. Local artists advertise their artistry by displaying it within the Café. The atmosphere was very warm and relaxing, with a... rustic appeal. The staff were efficient and very friendly! The server was quite knowledgeable about the artists and their work!This would be a nice place to read and have a cup of coffee & a muffin. I honestly can't stand the manager. She's always there making comments, being unprofessional, rude & often unsanitary (holding a... wailing child while working with food). It doesn't help that they've made me feel like a nuisance to them all 3 times I'veordered a menu coffee item - no complications, no add-ons or substitutions. Is it because I'm not ordering pastries or asandwich? Needless to say I don't come here unless it's to meet friends, even then it's not to stay. It's a shame because theatmosphere is adorable and menu seems nice but I can't enjoy any of it, all I hear are the snide remarks & bad behaviour frommanagement. Read more
