Bad part first - our meal was over salted. Not in a normal 'salty restaurant food' kinda way. It was more like someone... accidentally dumped a whole salt shaker on our meal, wiped it off and hoped no one would notice. I don't think they usuallytaste like this because no one on earth would happily enjoy eating tacos so salty that you can't taste anything but salt. The nachos alone deserve 5 stars. They were the best nachos we?ve had and we?ve had plenty! We couldn?t believe they were vegan!... Perfectly crunchy yet very creamy with balanced colourful toppings. ?The works? nachos plate was the star of the show forsure. The black bean burrito was too mushy for my liking. I would?ve liked to try their Tuco salad and guacamole but they ranout of avocados, which was disappointing for a Mexican style restaurant. I never complain about too much green but the bowl Iordered had too much kale. The popcorn cauliflower and the dressing were top notch on the other hand. The decor was ?beachycoastal boho? style with lots of live plants. Enchanting! Would return to try some more items on the menu, hopefully withavocados! Read more
Tucos is a favourite place to go when we're in Sudbury. The vibe is incredible, the staff are great, and the all-vegan food is... top notch. The outside eating area is really nice because it's walled off from the street. We always feel a little cooler aftera meal here! Read more
First time at this Sudbury hidden gem. The atmosphere is cozy. The servers are super friendly, and knowledgeable. The food was... amazing! I never dined at a vegetarian restaurant before, but this place set the bar really high. The mac & cheese tastedamazing, and the Buffalo Tempeh Taco had so much flavour packed in every bite. Came here on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. Great portion sizes and the food was delicious. Ordered a main each... and the nachos to share and had plenty of food leftover for a group of 4. We went fairly early for dinner (5ish) so seating wasnever an issue. Service was quick and friendly. The food was good overall and it had some neat attention to detail for their vegan mocks of meat like the avocado used as a fish... replacement being sliced and fried together to resemble fish texture. However there we a number of things that kept them at a 3for me. The margaritas weren't very good, the paper the nachos were cooked on stuck to the chips a lot of the time, many of thenachos were soggy since they over used moisture heavy toppings, and they don't let you mix and match their tacos to try avariety of them which is usually an option at taco places I have been.
