We arrived at about 7pm, and Kay was exceptional! She was up front with us about staffing issues at the beginning. Food was... great, and came out in a timely manner. I ordered the chicken fried steak, and it was amazing! Will def be eating here againwhen we are back in town! Read more

I've had Village Inn before and it was good. However, someone must have been having a rough day October 13th when I was craving... a chicken fried steak meal. When I sat down to eat I realized my hashbrowns were undercooked, the pancakes were dry, the chickenfried steak (which seemed more like a large chicken nugget from the frozen section) was over cooked and melted the box, I didn'treceive any flatware or syrup, but the deal breaker was when I realized I didn't get any gravy. There's a level of trust thataccompanies to-go meals because the worst feeling is getting to your destination (hungry) and it's not what you were expecting.Always check your to-go's! Read more
