Horrible experience. I just ordered 2 lasagna dinners. When I get home, I found each ?lasagna? was a pile of sauce covered in... grease and cheese. There was no ?lasagna? to be found. When I called the restaurant back I was told the portions are smaller?you know because of the times.? I was offered a $10 account credit but will not be back to use it. Proceed with caution. I moved to Montgomery 10 years ago. We have been ordering from genoa pizza ever since, but unfortunately from the other 2... locations in Oswego and Yorkville. Only because they were closer and I pick up my pizza every time. When the other 2 locationsclosed we landed with this one but found that the Sugar Grove location actually had the BEST TASTING PIZZA and other foods ofthe 3. I would leave 5 stars but the last year or so has not been great. I don't call and complain every time there is an issuecause its a small local business and my issues have not been severe enough to make them loose money on me. I order the exactsame thing almost every week. Its a straight forward order and the receipt is correct every time. Hope they can get itstraightened out soon otherwise I may be looking for a new place. Read more
I love their pizza and will give them a 5-star rating but I am not sure I will be ordering from them anymore. They only use this... terrible Slice platform which now charges a $10 delivery fee. Long gone are the days of mom and pop pizza places providingreasonably priced delivery. Read more
I LOVE this place and by far my favorite pizza place!! I live in Texas but when I come up to Illinois at least once a year, I... ALWAYS have the "Ranch Romano". It is my FAVORITE pizza of all time. I've dined at expensive restaurants and it still doesn'tbeat that pizza. I wish we had something like that back home. Honestly, of they ever got rid of it, I'd probably cry my eyesout. I could be here a week and order it about 5 times during the week. Please please please keep this on your menu for life! Icouldn't live without it. Read more
Genoa's Pizza is good although employees work in harsh conditions. Total admiration for the employees. Never been in a pizza... joint before that blasted you with a heatwave when you walked in the door. I don't know maybe it keeps the pizza hot and youdefinitely do not need warmers. Read more
Simply the best pizza around. I used to get it often when they had a location in Oswego, but even now it is well worth what ends... up being an hour round trip to get. It's still hot by the time I get home and extremely tasty. Even leftover it is stillsuperior to any of the competition. I don't know what I would do if I moved much further away from Sugar Grove, because I'venever found pizza better than Genoa, and I've had pizza from many, many local restaurants. It still tastes just as consistentlyfantastic as it did when I was a kid. Read more
The pasta is awesome! Great meatballs! We love the 1/2 price pasta special! The pizza seemed to lack sauce but I just ask for... extra sauce now. Overall- one of our favorite places to order from. Read more
