Something old, something new! The old traditional demand for quality is a signature of Sushi chef Keeper-San! The Sugar Land... location is ?new? for the veteran chef but he keeps the traditions! Since the opening of Kaneyama in 1994 Keeper-San stillproviding the community and sushi connoisseurs with quality sushi. Then there was ?Sushi King? on Kirby! Wanted to give 3.5 stars but that wasn't an option. My husband's salmon plate was decent, but sparse. He wished it came with... soup & salad instead of just a nice-sized piece of salmon and a few vegetables. I ordered Shrimp Tempura, Yellowtail, 2 Unagi,Seaweed salad, Agedashi Tofu and Spider hand roll. Ate all mine because it was from the happy hour appetizers menu where theportions are probably smaller. The delicious tofu was a good portion for the price and I really enjoyed that! I felt the Spiderroll looked puny and that the fried crab must have been tiny. If we return, I will be sure to order more food. Read more
