This place is definitely a place of its own in a good way! To start off, the interior design is very minimalistic but so pretty.... The staff are very kind hearted and super sweet. The service is so quick given the large variety of dishes. If you need anythingthey will try and give you what you asked for or work around to give you something very close. The food is SOOO good. I ended uptrying a shrimp dish with medium spice and it was so tasty and very aesthetic with so much flavor. The prices are not too overpriced but the prices match the food quality. It is a tad bit pricy but most dishes are in the price range between $15-30.Definitely Recommend to anybody wanting to try Indian food. Read more

The ambience of the restaurant and bar are 10/10. The drinks were good: we had the smoked old fashioned and the Saffron Spritzer... (the orange in the drink overpowered the flavor, and the rose and saffron did not really have a chance to surface). We startedwith the Avocado Bhel - a great idea mixing guacamole/avocado with sev and all-in-one snack mix, topped off with pomegranateseeds, and plated pleasantly. Something to mimic at home for sure. For our mains, we had the Gongura Chicken (spicy, but askedto be made spicy), Chettinad Chicken (asked to be made per regular seasoning, but turned out to be very spicy), and Malai Kofta(asked to be made mid-range spicy). This is where the food was disappointing, because spicy food does not just mean heapingspoonfuls of lal mirch (red chilli) powder on to a prepared dish. Moreover, Malai Kofta is a a slightly sweet curry, so themid-level spice really shouldn’t have been run-your-nose and water-your-eyes hot. The nans were good - we had butter roti andbullet nan, along with jeera rice. The portions are half of regular servings (at most other restaurants), and unfairly so, giventhe cost of each item on the menu. Desserts: We ordered the Pan Laddoo, Gulab Jamun and Modak. For $7 a piece (enough to makeany Maharashtrian ancestors turn, figuratively speaking), I expected more from the Modak - the rice flour shell was thick at thetop, and the stuffing, though delicious, was not as decadently filled as is characteristic of Modaks. I must say that providingghee along with the Modak was thoughtful and delightful. The insides of the Gulaab Jamuns were sadly undercooked. The panLaddoos were innovative! The service was excellent, although it was quite a wait between ordering the meal and receiving it, andsimilarly for the desserts. Over all, it felt as though one were paying for the ambience rather then the quality and flavors ofthe food. Read more

I went there with few friends to try it out. The place has beautiful ambiance and very friendly staff with quick service. Coming... to food the appetizers were really good. Main course was okayish and nothing special. The star of the show was Rack of Lamb.Really juicy with perfect balance of spices and hummas on the side. Delicious The Gulf Dynamite Shrimps were really good too andso were Chiken Dynamite. Main course we had dum biryani which was very average. We got both shrimp and chicken biryani and ricewere tasteless for both. Toofani chicken was sweet and chicken wasn't spiced that well to impress any one of us. Both chettinadand Andra Currys were okayish too. In the end for the price menu has it isn't worth another try for me. Apart from Lamb rackTHE REST WAS JUST AVERAGE FOOD. Read more

Please do yourself a favor and try thus outstanding Indian restaurant. Being Indian we usually avoid eating at Indian... restaurants (because we eat plenty of Indian food at home) but this one blew our mind. Everything about this place was amazing. From their customer service to decor to drinks and food! We went with our friends and had a blast! Their drinks are so good andis made with fusion. I had their Tamarind Margarita! The food was fresh, plenty and super flavorful. Even after sharing we tookhome leftovers! Definitely recommend this place! Read more

I went through some of the reviews before posting this. We went for lunch today (which they have recently started) and honestly... speaking I was utterly disappointed. We ordered lots of items from the menu. Good things first - the Chinese chat was good, naans were good, lassi was not bad. Other chicken items like chicken tikka masala, lasooni chicken were just ok. But here comesthe most disappointing of all - lal chilly goat. Dear chef, I highly recommend to put this item off your menu. The goat wasuncooked and the gravy was plain simple. I wonder why this was the most expensive item in the menu. Overall I am disappointed. Please really work on some of dishes. They really need to improve. Hospitality was good, servers were really good but wait timewas long. Read more

Well well well you're hearing it here ... this is the place that can stand up to Houston 5 star restaurants hands down! Being... Indian many in our community will complain of the prices, taste, portions etc .... because many people expect the taste to bethe same as every other Indian dining experience they've had. Well I am here to tell you that this place is not your mom andpop Indian cuisine. The owners have made all the dishes very flavorful and easy on the palate! You can savor every bite ... Absolutely blew me away because it was not overpowering spices but fresh, aromatic and delicious! I recommend this spot inSugarland as it has great cocktails, food Is off the charts, all spices are IMPORTED FROM THE MOTHERLAND! This in itself makestheir food unique and different! Great job guys keep it up and see you soon! Higher end dining is here for Indian cuisine! Read more
