The food was good. Service was quick. I liked the naan especially. Fresh and warm. Barbecue platter and karahi were good but the... fish was very very dry and seemed old recited. I did not like the ambiance, no music or lively anything it was sad and gloomy. Ialso did not like that tea was very milk heavy and not even like warm. We ordered gulab jaman and gajar ka halwa they were ok.Maybe put a little music or something to make this place less gloomy. Read more

I want to give it 3.5 stars but I’ll round up to 4 Service: Service was excellent. They seated us quickly on a Friday night... without reservation. The waitress was so patient and accommodating for my large group. She even got prayer mats forus Food: The presentation was wonderful. We loved the chicken hunzai handi and the chicken tikka boti. Naans were also good andthey have a ton of different flavors to choose from. The shinwari mutton karahi was honestly disappointing. There was not muchsaalan so it was dry (even for a karahi) and the mutton pieces had very little meat for a $32 dish. The masala chops were cutpoorly and subsequently cooked poorly because they obviously struggled to get the meat to lay flat on the grill. There weretender portions and over and undercooked portions. It was definitely far behind Aga’s goat chops. Value: I think there isgood value if you’re careful about what your order. The Hunzai and the appetizers we got were fairly priced. As I mentionedabove, I don’t feel like the Shinwari mutton or the goat chops were worth their $30 price tags. Overall: I think the serviceand the atmosphere are the saving grace for this place. The food is hit or miss and some of the dishes aren’t worth the highprices. Also, they do automatically add 18% gratuity for large groups (I didn’t notice until later). Read more

This was a nice experience. I love the background music and the food. We ordered four items: chicken lollipop (delicious),... chicken Tikka (great), chicken makhani handi (not our cup of tea), and mutton kabulu pulao (rice was great but mutton meat was alittle chewy). We would come back for the lollipop and the chicken Tikka and get regular rice with it. It was a really gooddeal for the lollipop and the chicken tikka. Read more

Well best Karahi I’ve had in Texas. Very flavorful kebabs and spicy level was spot on. Reasonably priced too. Place was... extremely busy even for the pickup on Sunday eve but the front desk lady was handling it all like a champ. Read more

Four stars because the service was really great, and the staff were really pleasant to work with. The samosa’s were hands down... the best thing on the menu! The flavors of the other food just didn’t taste right to me. More of a home cooked meal type offlavor. And the chicken 65 wasn’t dry like you would expect- it’s in a weird sauce that was just a bit different than whatyou would normally receive. Read more

My family and I went to Mai Kolachi for Sunday brunch as the price is very reasonable and Mai kolachi has good reputation.... It’s a clean restaurant and it wasn’t too busy. For the price of 11.99 buffet includes chana (garbanzo beans) aalu tarkari(potato) Sojihalwa, chicken mince, nihari, paya and gajar ka halwa. Naan and puri was served hot at the table. They also hadother condiments like pickle and raita (yogurt, mint, coriander and chillies sauce/dip) Everything was good in taste exceptnihari. It was too dark in color and didn’t look fresh. You can order different drinks from the menu and pay separate forthem. I won’t recommend any drinks except mint lemonade. Pink colada was ok. Salty lassi lacked salt. Blue colada was a bigdisappointment it was purple and wasn’t good in taste. Also drinks came too late when we were done with our food and everyonewas full. If they increase the amount of buffet a little and add an egg item and one more kabab item it will be great. I missedhaving egg for my brunch. Overall good experience. Staff was nice and efficient.
