Been coming to this shipleys for over a decade for quick and easy breakfast for my office. While i understand any establishment... can become busy and rushed, the staff at this location can be very rude. Today was just the last straw - a simple thing likeasking for napkins after a purchase resulted in a staff member pointing at an empty napkin basket across the way and asking ?doyou understood english??. There were multiple stacks of napkins right front of her on the counter but i guess it?s easier toinsult a customer. There?s multiple other shipleys around the Houston area that can have my business. The owner Voz is extremely rude! He over charged us and spoke to me rudely. I assume he?s okay with speaking to woman in a rude... tone is acceptable. I advise everyone to go to another Shipley?s or any other fonut spot. Read more

I always typically go to this location i drive an extra 20 mins specifically this location. I always ask for hot fresh donuts... and usually wait for them as well. This morning, I asked the cashier went to the ?fresh? donuts. You could tell she waspreoccupied with something else, she rushed me through. Instead of the another cashiers who are kind and I usually ask how theyare doing. Immediately after I paid she walked away to go into her purse. I touched the donuts outside the bag and they werecold. I asked if I could have hot fresh donuts. She said they were hot and fresh and continued going through her purse. I askedif there was anyway I could wait for hot fresh donuts to come out and when the next batch was going out. She huffed and saidthey were fresh and warm. She clearly didn?t want to talk. Sadly i wont be coming back anytime soon. I have never experiencedthis with the prior cashiers over the years. Very sad, usually they always have hot hot donuts Read more

Delicious donuts and latkes! Large selection and the service was very good. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a free donut... on Monday and Tuesdays! Read more

No matter how many times I retry shipleys, I?m always underwhelmed. There is just something about the lack of creativity and... taste that make it subpar. The kids like it though. We were in and out within 10 minutes. However, I did feel slightly rushedwhen ordering. Read more

Shipley Do-Nuts is a Texas symbol. Go ahead and mention Krispy Kreme or Dunkin to Texans and they'll be quick to lay you know. .... that's not a real donut lol. I love coming to Shipley when I come into town for two reasons: 1) their hot regular glazeddonuts 2) THE KOLACHES What I love about their donuts is that they are yeast donuts. According to their website, "The donutthat started it all was a glazed yeast donut. This donut has a light interior with a slightly crispy outside and smothered inthe traditional glaze or a variety of other toppings including icing, sprinkles, nuts, coconut, and cinnamon-sugar. When eatingone of our yeast donuts, you can imagine the sensation of biting into a cloud." The cloud aspect, is true. When biting into aShipley donut, you question "what Krispy Kreme?". Now the kolaches. To be honest, I never had one until I came to Texas. Ididn't even know what one was until my boyfriend introduced them to me a couple years ago. Everyone I go, I get the same one.The jalapeño and cheese one. Amazing every time. Our order when my boyfriend and I are together are the same. - 3 glazed - 3kolaches - 2 bottles of water $12 Read more
