SomiSomi is a pretty popular soft serve chain and the Sugar Land location is well run! Service was friendly and quick. The... pricing is more than fair ($6.45 for taiyaki + soft serve or $3.95 for just soft serve.) I got milk tea with custard in mytaiyaki. My parents really loved the Ube soft serve! First time here, so good! The wafer is spot on using rice flour for more chewy texture, while still having crunchy outer waffle... shell. Bonus points for using real taro for the filing, yum! The soft serve is a mixed bag. Ube was the best out of three wetried. Chocolate was nothing special. I got the milk tea and coffee swirl, a pass for next time. Tea was overly sweet and coffeehad no flavor. Server was surly and made a big deal when I mistook the ah-boong cooling for a taiyaki. Read more

Great taste as always, the service here is very attentive for a chain soft serve. The dude who works here gave me like 5 swirls... once lol. Something at this location is still not quite on the level of the ones I've tried in Socal... perhaps it's the size ofthe store or the ambiance. Read more
Nice clean atmosphere. The staff is friendly. I love the concept of the fish-shaped waffle for a cone. The ice cream has a... smooth texture I don?t think I?ve felt in an ice cream before. Topping selection is nice and the kids loved that you couldactually just get the fish shaped waffle filled with Nutella. Highly recommend giving this place a try. I know we will be back. Read more
This is such good soft serve. The taiyaki is crunchy on the outside and has a thin layer of soft waffle on the inside. I got... chocolate with custard filling. There wasn?t much filling inside the taiyaki but there was a ton of soft serve that went intothe fish?s mouth. It was delicious. I?ll definitely be back. Beard Papa?s next door is great too! Read more
