The food was descent. The gumbo was really good. There were things on my plate that I didn't like but my husband did and vice... versa. We probably will not be returning. It was okay. Our waiter Alex was great and there is a young lady that works at thedoor from Louisiana, she was nice enough to help me decide which cocktail to have for my anniversary. Great atmosphere, very clean, very busy but still had great service. We started with a seafood fondue that was tasty but a... surprisingly small portion. I had a really great burger, cooked perfectly, very messy to eat ....but well worth the trouble. Ialso had a nice cocktail which I requested an added shot because the drink didn't even contain a full shot to begin with. Itshould have been put into a larger glass because with the added shot the mix to top it didn't fit. I had to drink it down someso they could add the Champagne that was supposed to be in it. ??????? My husbands salmon was terrible, it was over cooked, dryand it it didnt have the fishy taste it had it would have been tasteless....obviously not fresh at all. Definitely underseasoned. The green beans were also tasteless, no seasoning on them what so ever. The jambalaya was the only edible thing onhis plate. Came for dinner with friends. The food was excellent but it was hard to have a conversation because of the acoustics. I had a... hamburger and fries and it was cooked as requested. My husband had the etouffee and our friends had gumbo, all which came withgarlic toast. The three of them thought their respective dishes were a little too spicy. No one thought to ask if it could betoned down a bit. Regardless, we ALL enjoyed our meal. The service was good. Read more
Huge shout out to our server, Chris!!! He made sure we were taken care of the whole time we were there. The food was seasoned... well with a nice little kick. I also ordered some items to go that are not pictured... Pasta Rosa, kids chicken tenders,shrimp,and mac and cheese. The pasta was very good, not too spicy. The chicken could use some seasoning, shrimp, and fries wereperfect! Mmmm and the drinks... Mexican margarita and Sidecar taste similar to me but still both very good. I loved that they had available seats even on Mother’s Day weekend. I went for a couple appetizers since I wasn’t too... hungry. Their virgin mojito is a must try if you’re not in the mood for alcohol. Descriptions under each photo! Read more
I must say this is one of the best places I’ve had eaten in a long time. Rebecca, our waitress, was the best?? She was fun,... professional, and recommended some of the best foods they have. Fabulous food and superb service. Not as crowded as the last time we visited (75% full) , but still so loud it was difficult to... have a conversation. No matter, the food makes up for it. Best Oysters Rockefeller on the planet. Fish dishes preparedperfectly. What are you waiting for? Read more
The espresso martini was on point! Food was good but not as great as I'd hoped when seeing other reviewed. Portions were sized... well. The Pick 2 Lunch option was a bonus! Service could be better but wasn't horrible - took a while for server to come to mytable after I was seated and had to flag someone down to order my meal. Overall, I'd go back if I was in the area.
