Great service, phenomenal food. Started with some battered mozzarella sticks and a tasty marinara sauce. Flying Hawaiian burger... was an explosion of great flavors and was a good portion size. Amazing food at a still very reasonable price compared to most restaurants these days. They don?t skimp on quality or quantity. ... Had a side of ribs plate and fish n chips. So good. Really the best food we?ve had in a while. Glad quality and affordabilitystill matter to some places these days. Another review said the interior was run down. Not at all. Food was very solid, especially the different sauces. Ribs were a banger and really good portions. The atmosphere though was... just super electric. They we're hosting a couple of live bands which was dope, and the staff and owner were extremely nice. Read more
The burgers were excellent. My favorite was the fry sauce. I don't know what the waitress called it, but she said everyone... orders that sauce. It has a bit of a kick, but it is sooooo good! There are many fun things to look at inside. Great burger forthe trip home, but a bit run-down inside. Read more
Meh.. Was craving a Bloody Mary as it's been awhile since I've enjoyed one.. I was pretty disappointed that it was like watered... down tomato juice, no spice, nothing. It was gross. The burger I got was okay, fries undercooked & cold. Read more
Service is excellent. Very comfortable place to relax and have dinner. Chicken fried steak was great. Everything was really... good. Even the way everything was placed, covered in gravy, and garnished was perfect. It was an above and beyond meal. Read more
Long time supporter, first time patron. I went for a bite to get a change of scenery from my home office on a Monday early... afternoon. Here's my take: Pros: -Very quiet atmosphere -They offer SWEET tea!! -Attentive waiter -Tasty food Cons: -Very dimlighting (not a bad thing per say, but hard to see while reading the menu) -Limited menu (again, not bad, just hoped the lunchmenu had more choices) Food: I ordered a french dip with Swiss, and subbed fries for O-rings. The O-rings were perfectly fried,the beef was good and the cheese was slightly melted just right. the bread was a little thick and I wish it would have beentoasted, and buttered, but it was good and held up to the au jus. The au jus had a nice smokey flavour, but it could have beenwarmed through a bit more. The tea was perfectly sweetened, and as someone who is a transplanted southern girl, this alone wasenough to bring me back in. Overall: It was a good and enjoyable dining experience and a great little spot to wait out trafficon hwy 2. Read more
