Such a beautiful location in every season. We've enjoyed dinner here in the summer by the lake, it's stunning, especially at... sunset! We recently dined in the winter and it was magical. They have beautiful decor with pretty lights. The food is delicious.I had the Tuna Tataki and a Cove margarita! Everyone in our party enjoyed their cocktails and their meals. First time visiting this Lakeside charmer - so very glad we finally made it for dinner. Enjoyed the friendly and attentive... service and excellent, fresh food. The (black cod) fish & chips were perfect. Happily the fish was not heavily / overlybattered. Loved the bibimbap and the nice bit of spice in the sauce...just the right heat. Oysters on the half shell were sogood that we had to order a second dozen! The wine and shallot mignonette oyster topper was insanely good! It's rare for me tostart from Tabasco and Lemons :) The by-the-glass wine list was a bit disappointing...but happily recovered by a well roundedbottle listing featuring many excellent local vintages. A beautiful restaurant with amazing views - right on the lake. Notsitting on their "view-laurels" was a pleasant surprise. Can't wait to visit again - hopefully in the summer and during the dayto take in the breathtaking views. Read more
*Edit to add a star! Came back and tried the ravioli, which was absolutely amazing. Tried a couple cocktails, too (Cove... Margarita and the Steeped Old Fashioned,) and they were both great. Great ambience and really friendly, knowledgeable staff.The food we tried was good, but nothing special. I?m sure we?ll be back to give some other dishes a chance! Read more
Beautiful restaurant. Friendly service. Food was good but not great. The Applewood Smoked Salmon had a fennel salad and potato... gratin with thyme flavours that were both too strong for me. The salmon was cooked perfectly though. My husband had the fishtacos and he wished the fish proportion was larger. Read more
We went in for dinner last night and absolutely loved every part of our experience. The atmosphere was super fun, classy yet... still casual. Cocktails (margaritas) were delicious. We ordered the cauliflower wings and calamari to start, all 4 of us wereessentially left speechless after the first bite of cauli wings... they were SO good!!! The calamari was great as well with thesautéed and seasoned veggies. We all enjoyed our meals but the fried chicken sandwich was the favourite overall... actually thebest chicken burger I've ever tasted in my life. On top of this, the service was superior and it was clear that the staffgenuinely enjoy working there and cared about our experience, with 3 different servers popping by to check in and have afriendly little chat. I will definitely be making a point to stop here anytime I visit Summerland. Read more
The food is so excellent we keep coming back. The kids love it and the staff is super friendly. Absolutely recommend this place.
