Probably the best coffee I have had in years. Ordered a pumpkin spice latte with only two pumps of the syrup, and it was... perfect. You can taste the quality of the coffee beans, and the way they steam the milk is so smooth and creamy. My husband andI both had breakfast and the breakfast was delicious. Just don't make the mistake of ordering and walking outside. You have towait for your order to pick up. They do not bring it out to you. Which is fine. Read more
Love the interior. Great job on the ambiance but food was overpriced and the server mislead us into buying a sandwich with sides... when we clearly expressed we didn't want sides but were told it "comes with it". The sandwiches were listed behind the serveras at $9+ which is what we were pointing to but they had a $16+ lunch spcial not mentioned but listed elsewhere that included atiny salad (that's an extra $7!) then got the salads wrong for 2 of us. Pasta was too salty but 2 sandwiches turned out toobland (not enough sauce?). Did not get drinks but the price for 4 came to $70? Yikes. Read more
I hope you have nothing else planned for the day because going to the Beanery is a whole day affair. The service is so slow. A... number of times it has taken over 30 minutes just to get a coffee. If you order food you can easily be waiting up to an hour.Sometimes you go and there isn?t anyone over the age of 18 working, and they are just slacking off or screwing around. Thecoffee is pretty mediocre, but better than anything else you can get in Summerland. The Beanery used to be much better, but ithas gone pretty far down hill in the past year or two. Trendy place with lots of selection for different drinks and treats. Plan on waiting a bit at peak times, it gets busy! Didn't... like the lack of prices on the baked goods and the old prices on the order board. Felt like a bit of a gouge when the price wasalmost double the price of the board! Better transparency would be appreciated. Read more
My family and I went for a quick lunch at the Beanery after our Kettle Valley Railway ride. The staff were all quite lovely and... although they seemed to be out of a lot of things (peach purée, lettuce for salad), the food and strawberry smoothie wasdecent. What put us off, was part way through our visit, the owner (we assume) came in and started loudly moving chairs andbossing this poor young worker around. She was telling her to clean the walls, put tables together, only put ?one plant? on atable. I get training your employees, especially those new to the work force, but it was cringe-worthy to hear how she wastalking to this girl and how loud she made a previously quiet cafe. It was seriously off putting and I hope it was just a badday, not the norm. Read more

My favorite spot in Summerland for coffee. This place is super popular, so make sure you head in earlier if you want a nice seat... on the patio! The inside details are a pleasant surprise. I love how kid friendly it is as well. Service is great and so is theatmosphere. Highly recommend checking them out. Read more
Last visit was great, so we came back for the second visit. We drove 45 minutes to got here. I don?t know how to say. The coffee... is some kind of jokes. You can see from the photo. The hot latte was too hot. and we had to requested the stuff to remake butthe staff?s attitude wasn?t nice at all and the ice latte-I have never seen the ice latte (no skills required)would make likethis.
