Homemade KFC! Really good coleslaw and gravy too with their own flavor (not like KFC).
Staff is nice, Food is good, prices are in line with KFC. And they are now buying smaller pieces of chicken, the same as KFC... turned too years ago. It is now similar at Dixie lee Chicken. Where you open a Bucket of chicken and see the wing the size of aBudgie Bird, or the breast of say a pigeon not a chicken? More money for less food. A sign of the times it seems everywherethese days. Customer service from one cashier was extremely poor. Half of the electronic menu was missing and when asked if they downsized,... the response we got was, ?Oh I don?t know what?s going on with it? but didn?t bother to try and fix it or give us paper menus.When my girlfriend asked about an item on the limited menu, the cashier proceeded to roll her eyes at the question. Walked up to the register and the cashier greeted me with ?What?? Waited 20 minutes with another gentleman for my food, and the... cashier handed it to me and I said ?Are you sure this is mine??, she replied ?Whatever...? (it was actually the othergentlemans). Opened up my ?chicken burger? to see a store bought processed bun, a kraft single, two chicken fingers, a slice oftomato, and a single drop of mayonaise. The fries were way too salty, and the coleslaw was half liquid. The customer servicehere is horrible, and the food is mediocre at best. TLDR; Go somewhere else. The customer service is terrible. This location blows. They don't care about the customers at all. We... waited over 40 minutes for our food which was 2 econo chicken dinners. How freaking hard is it to make the easiest freakingmeal. A bunch of people who came in after us all got their food before ours and it was pretty dead when we were in. There wasabsolutely no freaking reason for this service. We then proceeded to ask for our money back. Then they had the audacity to giveus a nasty attitude because they were trying to force us to take the food we no longer want and not refund our money. Sofreaking glad we drove over an hour to come get Dixie Lee. We used to get DL all the time in NB so we were excited for this. Wejust wasted 3 hours of our one day off. Thanks. So freaking happy. Chicken was good, fries weren't and were under cooked. The service lady couldn't even force a smile, never said thank you for... coming, didn't even greet us when we walked over to her, we weren't even fully sure if she worked there or not. Wasn't busyeither and I could see why. Read more
Apparently the chicken was tasty but greasier than normal for good franchise. The place was clean and modern looking for this... restaurant. The menu was displayed on flat screen TVs and the little lady was actually animated. The restaurant has a mezzanineand a 2nd floor patio. The service was courteous and quick and the smell was typical of a Dixie Lee. Read more
The staff were friendly and welcoming. We ordered the 3 piece meal and it was amazing. Portions were big and we could not finish... it so we brought it home for later. Would definitely return. Great experience! Read more
