I\'ve been trying to get to this place since they opened however always had the day\'s mixed up. I walked in and was greeted by... a gentleman who was very pleasant. I ordered baked chicken, macaroni and cheese, collard greens and yams. My fiance had Buffalowings and fries. The food was absolutely delicious and the price was great. I have leftovers for later. I received great customer service! I ordered the fried chicken, greens, mac & cheese, candied yam, corn muffin & sweet potato... pie. The mac & cheese was delicious (rated a 10)! The chicken, muffin, & pie were good (rated a 7). The greens had flavor butwas ruined by the spicey heat (rated a 3). I don\'t like spicey greens. I gave the total experience a 4 because of the customerservice & mac & cheese. Next time, I\'ll try the cabbage/okra soup & turkey wings. Read more

A friend recommended that I try this place out, I went today to grab a plate for lunch and let me tell you! Got there just as they opened. Porkchop was amazing. Fries were good. Mac left a little to be desired but it didn\'t taste... fresh but no reason not to go again. That beef stew....my god. I\'d go back just for that on a cold day. Go see them. You willnot regret it. Read more
