I normally give detailed reviews. For this brand deli, though, it will be short because it's just that simple: if you like deli... food you are going to really like some of McAlister's offerings. They have not only several categories of food, but a fairlygood variety of items per category. Soups, salads, sandwiches, and what is probably their signature on the menu, the spud (halfor whole large-sized baked potatoes with again a wide variety of toppings. I am a former non-managerial employee of anotherMcAlister's location from many years ago, but I have no financial interest in this company since then. It just means I ate thismenu daily and I never tired of it. I do have one quirk regarding lunchtime restaurants. A proper sweet tea is the gateway to agreat menu and this deli does not fail you there. Great sweet tea is served here. When I worked there, the lemonade was madefrom scratch from lemons. If it still is, you can take the promise of perfectly tart and sweet lemonade to the bank, ok? Read more
I got the nacho basket. The nacho sauce was barely warm, it had already started to chunk up. My husband got a potato that wasn?t... even warm enough to melt the butter. We?ve never been disappointed with this restaurant until today. Read more
Seriously ????, the two girls behind the counter were rude! One taking orders and one expediting the food. Whenever a customer... would walk up to get a refill on their drink, the one girl constantly rolled her eyes. You could tell she didn't want to bethere! The floors were disgusting, food and grime all over it. Seriously need a good mopping. The food, soup and sandwich weredelicious. The new rolled dogs, disgusting and overcooked. The fruit bowl was not fresh fruit. Sweet tea is absolutelydelicious! My thoughts if the dining room was filled with trash food on the floor in everything else. What would the backkitchen look like? I placed my order online and followed the directions in my email to let them know I was there, I waited 20 mins and had to call... them about my food. The lady walks out with my food and I asked if their system was working. She said she didn?t know but theyare short staffed. I tried being nice because I know how it is to be short staffed. I get home and the chicken Caesar salad Iordered had 3 think strips of chicken and no dressing. I even paid extra for dressing and still didn?t get any dressing. Calledto store and they said they can?t do anything about it unless I wanted to drive back up there and get it. I spoke to the managerand while I?m in middle of conversation she hung up on me. Called back and the one that answered hung up on me when I asked formanager again. I called again to get the names of the manager and she tried refusing to give me her name because it?s personalInformation. Not like I?m asking for an address just want the first name. After 5 mins she finally gave it to me after askingsomeone if it?s ok. (Coliega is the Manager however you spell it) and Mike is the GM. Mike was too busy to talk to me. I willnot give them another dime of my money. It shouldn?t have even went this far but after they hung up in me for no reason, Ithought it was very unprofessional. I know why they are short staffed. Food was great, so was the sweet tea. Interesting that they put the salad on the plate rather than a separate bowl. Only thing,... the bathrooms needed stocking with basics like soap so you can wash your hands. Read more
I order a chicken club sandwich with potato salad and It was delicious. Very well prepared and served. The reason why I give 4... stars is because cleanness is very important. The restaurant looked dirty specially the floor. There were a good amount of dirtytables with trash on them and the patio had trash flying all over. It is a nice spot and the food is good but they need to tightit up a little with the cleaning, specially now with this pandemic. Read more
This visit was not a good experience. Young girls talking and laughing more than working and fulfilling orders. Not ensuring... everything ordered was in the bag. Negative attitudes when they were told to they still missed items. No pleasant expressions.Salad was a little wiltered and thrown together. Spud was not prepared correctly. Not a good visit. Read more
