Parking lot appearance was deceiving as to how adorable it is inside. We walked in to a packed (on a Tuesday night) restaurant... with people waiting to be seated and Mama Jun walking through the crowd and loudly thanking everyone for their business and howthankful she is for each and every one of us, as well as for this amazing country which has allowed Myles and Jun to become sucha success. With no reservation, I thought we may be turned away but were seated relatively quickly and treated like familyimmediately. Their signature broth was served complimentary and saying it was the best broth I have ever eaten is anunderstatement. Other patrons waiting with us suggested the chicken skin skewers and I?m so thankful for the suggestion, becauseit was outrageous. The menu is expansive with very unusual and interesting options, so we definitely over ordered but wecouldn?t help but be eager to try as many dishes as possible. We shared four apps and four skewers. The tuna tataki app wasdelicious and Mama Jun even came to our table and showed us how to eat it and fed us directly! We went with the salmon bellytempura and Myles? Stir Fried Noodles as entrees and we were stuffed. You will not find better service in Summerville. Mamu makes everyone feel welcome and appreciated. Don't miss the Kawa... (crispy chicken skin yakitori). I had the ramen with shrimp tempura. I love that they served the shrimp on the side so it didn'tget soggy. Everything was cooked perfectly and the broth was so flavorful. My husband had the teriyaki ribeye and chicken combo. It was all delicious. I recommend making a reservation, which we did not, but Mamu took great care of us while we waited fora space at the bar. Hidden gem in Summerville. Reservations are preferred but after a 15 minute wait they got us a table. Tables sit close but the... atmosphere was v chill.
