We had a party of 6 on a Tuesday. We did the call ahead priority seating. All of our party was present. We waited and saw... groups of similar that came in after us get seated. After about 30 minutes, I confirmed with the girl at the front that I hadchecked our party in. She said yes and that we were next. After another 30 minutes and 2 more parties that arrived well afterus were seated, we asked to see the manager. The manager was rude and of absolutely no help. This can't even be blamed onstaffing issues. They were seating people just not us. Needless to say we will never be going back. Wasabi used to be a niceplace but it has gone way downhill. Read more

Came for my goddaughter's birthday. The team working our table was great and so was the company. Bring your most laid back... friends and enjoy the jokes and show from the chef. The more you interact the more fun it is! Read more

They have a numerous variety of sashimi. Samurai dinner is recommended for children if they don't eat raw food. Baked oyster is... enjoyable. Fish roe quail egg sushi is especially good, high quality fish roe, and a fish tank with a pond in the lobby, veryspecial atmosphere. Read more

Wait was quoted 45. It was right at an hour. No biggie. Once we were sat we proceeded to wait another hour waiting on our... hibachi chef. The server and hostesses were great and even the hibachi chef was great. My complaint is we arrived at 7pm wassat at 8pm and didn't get fed until 920pm. That's a little ridiculous on time management. So the wait was not 45 minutes, youshould have just said 2 hours. We sat at the bar while waiting and the bartender was great! Also a few sanitary things notedwas several of the staff were setting the serving trays on the hot grills and they were visibly melting. The bottoms of thosetrays are notoriously gross and really should be set on a cooking surface. Unfortunately, this was the second bad experience Ihave had at this location. Read more

First off, I see some negative reviews based on benign short staffed. I see the signs on the front door, and the front counter... asking to be courteous due to short staff situation. That being said, Tuesday night, place is hopping and great service. Iwanted Sashimi and did not see anything hit the deluxe plate, the waitress told me to order any sushi and they would make itsashimi for $1 more. Perfect, glad I stopped by. Read more

Flew into SC for the holiday weekend hoping to take my family out for a nice meal. Made reservations 2 hours in advance for 815.... Arrived at 745. Got seated around 845. Order were taken around 910. 4 out of 5 meals were cooked wrong, and servings were splitin half to compensate for the errors with the prepared food. 3 plates ordered appetizer shrimp. 0 people received them. 4 platesordered no onions. 2 servings of vegitables were split among the 4 plates. Drink cups were not refilled on time. 2 platesRecieved 5 and 6 small (not appetizer) shrimp for their entire $35 meal. A small child in another family got sick at the table.Waited 10 minutes for a clean up, we were NOT offered a new table or meal. Huge chunks of undercooked eggs ruined the rice. Wheni asked for management, they offered to compensate by reducing our meals by 25%. When less then 25% of our meals were correct.To end the night, another table began getting diruptive and cussing and using vulgar language, the party was not removed fromthe facility for another 10 minutes. And then they returned inside again. Again the manager did NOT compensate appropriately. Myfamily has been going here for many years, after tonights horrible service/food/dining experience/ and other disruptive guest,topped off with a mear 25% discount offer from mananagement, we will NOT EVER be visiting this establishment again until werecieve 5 compensation meals for our disgusting experience tonight. Great food. Great size portions and great experience for mother's day. Prices are outrageous. Ordered the jumbo shrimp and steak... meat and only got three shrimp. Paid 33$ for it was a little upset about it. Rest of the food made up for it. Wound up spending77$ for 2 people ???????? little outrageous but it was for mother's day. Read more
