When I moved to Summit we found this bakery. Remember nearly 30 years Dunkin donuts being good. Well 30 years ago I stopped... eating donuts. Nothing in 30 miles around was good anymore. That was until we found this place. The quality is top of the linedonuts. Now we never had anything else. But the donuts are worth the price. We would buy their donuts and share with withfamily, at my husbands work and so on. Not one person had bad to say. Now lets use our brains, donuts are a treat. Not foreveryday food. They are high calorie and high carbs. Please be responsible with eating them or allowing kids to eat them. Withthat said. This place should be on the map in Illinois for their donuts. High quality and well priced. I can't say anything fortheir other items, because I never had it. Also, their workers in the store have always been super kind. No public restrooms.Street parking only. This place is awesome even if you don't take advantage of their happy hour specials. They have some of the best donuts, cookies,... pastries, cakes and "bolillos" sandwich bread around. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help you with yourselection of sweet pastries. But if you go during "HAPPY HOUR" most of their bread pieces are .60 or less. Happy hour is asfollows Monday - Saturday 5:00pm - 7:00pm Sunday - 1:00 - 3:00pm Remember that the earlier you go, the better selection you'regoing to have to choose from. Read more
The huge variety available at this bakery is amazing. You can get a cup of coffee, a slushie, or juice and they have many... different donuts, cookies, muffins, parfaits and cakes to choose from. Our kids had a wonderful time picking out differenttreats for themselves and some to bring home for their cousins. The wonderful girls carefully wrapped up all the goodies thatwere picked and we had a bunch of happy (and quite????) children as they were gobbling their desserts after we got home. Read more
